  • Full walkthrough of a Southeastern class 376 Electrostar (5 carriage) train.
This video is a full walkthrough all 5 carriages of the train.
The formation of all class 376 are the same with each unit consisting of 5 carriages which are a similar design to the London Overground class 378 trains. All class 376 as with all Southeastern services are standard class only. The class 376 operate in service as either single 5 carriage units or in 10 carriage formations.
The interior of the class 376 feature a mix 2+2, longitudinal and perch seating with these units designed with limited seating and more standing space for shorter metro services.
The class 376 operate on most south London metro Southeastern routes out of London Bridge, Charing Cross and Cannon Street forming services to Dartford via Abbey Wood, Bexley and Crayford as well as to Orpington and Sevenoaks through Lewisham. They do not operate on Southeastern London Victoria routes.
All the class 376 currently in service with Southeastern are planned to remain with the operator for now with a refurbishment planned.
Note that this video was filmed in February 2024 on a London Charing Cross to Hayes service.

I have always found these trains quite strange as they are a strange mix between the Overground and mainline yet they are used on some of the longer Metro journeys.
