Just came across this, I just gotta say, your entity animation is top notch, the movement is so fluid and it feels like there’s weights its movements. That’s one thing that I’ve found that a lot of backrooms creators have issues with. Usually they tend to be choppy. While I know that technically the entities don’t have to abide by the real world physics, it’s nice to see lifelike movement, it helps to sell that something’s there. Props man, keep up the good work!
This is true terror. The screams sound so sincere and miserable. I love that how instead of most Backrooms videos, where the person is running away from something that’s making a constant loud noise, it’s one guttural cry, and the “filmer” is left with silence and echoes as they run, being the only thing they can think to do. I keep imagining myself in this situation, and have literally almost been brought to tears out of empathy for the horror of the situation. Well done 👏
What I particularly was stunned about is the atmosphere of the level, the echo, the ambience, these dim repetitive lights creating the liminal space with that sense of something contrived, odd, you know, "computed". The sound of steps is so quiet compared to the voice, no air friction noise while running, it all creates this impression of a surreal dream, where you run from a monster as unfathomable, vague and with completely incomprehensible intentions only to embrace a completely dark void and wake up in cold sweat all over the forehead.
Dude. Holy Fuck. This is easily the best and scariest backrooms animation I have eeever experienced, and it technically wasn't even in the "Backrooms" Backrooms it's just an extradimensional plane of a "parking lot" filled with lamp poles. The reason it's so existentially scary for me especially towards the end is because no matter how far or fast he ran he was stuck there with only a choice between immediate torturous death at the hand of that fucking... *_thing..._* or to face the unknown, praying to whatever god may hear him, casting himself into the void of nothingness. *Bravo.* 🤐
I love the ambience you managed to create. It really felt like a lucid dream how the environment doesn't change and the sense of solitude you can feel from the flickering lights and the humming of electricity. Personally I think most creators are too hung up now on trying to make monsters and stuff that it takes away from the original idea of the backrooms that you are in a liminal space and its the sense of that you feel you're being watched by someone or something while in actuality you are alone. Without the monster this would have been much better for me IMO but seems like most of the audience for this genre want monsters tacked on to everything now.
Wonderful sound design. The reverberation of the entity's noises is quite scary. I like how it starts incredibly quietly too, I thought maybe I was imagining the crying until it started getting louder. I love when the guy running stops holding the camera steady, too, like "I NEED TO RUN FOR MY LIFE NOW SORRY FOR THE 240p VIDEO"
The creature’s sound echoing across the car park or whatever the place is really scares the hell out of me. Guess even the scariest horror movie’s sound effect is no better than this. Great work!

Basically this level was once super stable but after the colony Emstable mined the concrete too much, they damaged the integrity of the level and were forced to flee it, thus resulting in the modern version of the level.
This made me freeze multiple times thanks to the ambience and the sound design alone. The monsters need a little bit more improvement imo, but overall you did fantastic.
Subbed for these Backrooms videos, these are really good. Personally, I'm not crazy about the monsters, the Backrooms work best when the focus is the environment, but that's just me. You're doing a great job here regardless. afterthought edit: I'd like to clarify that I actually liked your interpretations of the monsters, I just don't care for Backrooms monsters in general.
i 100% agree most backrooms monsters are trash. would love to see someone take the essence of the less dumb monsters but update it to something a little less lame and gamey. kane pixel's body horror take on monsters is pretty well done.
Grimsikk Don't agree at all, if you’re judging the quality of the Backrooms on how fundamentally eerie and incomprehensible and liminal it is, then obviously the new stuff has ruined it, but alternatively, if you value the modern Backrooms because of the incredibly fascinating worldbuilding and such, then obviously you’ll see the old Backrooms as moderately interesting but mostly forgettable. Not to say there isn’t flaws with the new stuff of course, since there are some (their terminology is largely vague, it’s definitely a bit derivative of SCP, and for a while there was a lack of quality control). But largely those flaws aren’t what make people hate the new backrooms, it’s because of how greatly it differs from the original. And yeah, maybe it sucks that the title of “the backrooms” no longer means what it once did, but the way I see it is that that’s because the new content spawned an even larger community that kept this one alive. More people are fans of the new stuff than the original (although the original is probably more iconic and recognized). But I dunno, point is, nothing’s ruined, we all have our likes and dislikes, and while it sucks to be a minority in your interests in the community, that doesn’t mean your interests are the only right one; nor does it mean you can’t still enjoy them.
Feel free to disagree, I just felt like responding to your argument and stating my position.
- great audio work! - the monster looked a bit silly. - loved how the arrangement of the lights changed as the wanderer progressed through the quasi random landscape. would love to see some like buildings and such in level 22 that take the theme and setting but twist it a bit. something more for the wanderer to explore. - it didnt make sense that the wanderer ended up walking toward the voice and stumbling upon the monster. i mean i suppose you can excuse it with the echo - he didnt know where it was coming from... but he knew it was getting louder. i dunno felt off a bit. maybe if he had gotten increasingly nervous and then stopped more abruptly when he realized it? - overall one of the better short ones out there. good job.

I noticed that the lights changed arrangement in a certain direction - like, there was a giant field of lamp posts, then in one direction there was a solitary stretch of lamps that ran on their own into the darkness - I think thats why he followed it, thinking it was a way out
Man that fall into darkness probably freaked me out most. I have dreams that end like that and they’re terrifying. You can’t see shit, but you can feel and hear the wind, and don’t know when the fuck you’re gonna land
Holy creep-out... The audio in this was (intensified by me sitting in a dark office with headphones) some of the most terrifying I've heard yet, and I'm a huge fan of all Backrooms creators. Great work, and I loved that the "filmer" found a border/barrier to the level, and "fell over" the side! Keep these coming - love it!
Damn, the number of chills, and the lore on level 22 is something else, and the fact that if you do jump off, you just fall, dying of hunger while falling, tbh my favorite level, and by far the scariest level, the mimic of the crying is honestly terrifying. Alone in what seems to be a big parking lot, but limited space, just floating there, as creatures are everywhere, and just there to lure you. This is the level where i would mentally go insane.
The most unsettling part of the video is how it ends. The fear of being captured by the monster was greater than jumping off into the abyss. Who knows where to but it's preferable to the former, right? Right?
dude that sound at the end when he falls is exactly the sound i heard during a dream where i was dying and all i could hear was a catastrophic noise like that seriously gave me chills. your work making environments and sound choices are too damn on point 👌👌

the fact that at some point all the light to the side of you disappear is terrifying, you don’t want to venture into the darkness so you only have two directions to go, the way you came or straight forward, i felt so trapped by the darkness in this video and it was an amazing use of the atmosphere, bravo 👏 ❤

Amazing bro, the ambiance, the visuals. The sound, that entity makes. It’s all just perfect and the animation makes all of that SO much better. You’re doing amazing work, and you would be regardless is this has anything to do with the backrooms or not
Really great - the sound appeared to be coming from everywhere and nowhere at the same time. I don't even think most people would know which direction to run in! Another case where making a lot of sounds/calling out for help was totally the wrong move on this level. I think this entity makes a reappearance at another level in a supermarket
The fact this level canonically was a place where it was technically a city and a trading outpost, with people everywhere. And now it’s abandoned. And broken down, and now that thing is ruling it all.
Hearing crying in the middle of the night is a big "fuck no" for me, so this was pretty chilling already. I'm seeing so much stuff that is making me want to write a crazy story.
I have been looking for _this video_ for months. I searched my history and playlists, scoured YT for “backrooms lot” or “backrooms smiley” to no avail. I came across a comment that said “level 22- parking lot,” and so I queried “backrooms level 22” and _I knew._ *This particular video literally haunted me.* Subbed, saved, will never forget. Nightmare fuel, a masterpiece.
They had no choice. There’s no where to hide and either you get consumed somehow or fall into an abyss. I know I’ve been in that situation before too and I also fell.
If this entity is a smiler, then lampposts are islands of safety, smilers cannot pass through the light, he could run between lampposts, simultaneously looking for a way out of the level.
The Backrooms are becoming an exploration into purgatory! People complain about the invincible monsters but they add a needed exclamation point and emphasize that the victim has been dropped into a demon's hold. One thing that is getting repetitive is how every creature seems to want to chase people with flailing arms.
I can't help think the noises the entity makes are the last sounds it encountered with its last victim. For example the sobbing and moaning in the beginning was from when the person was lost and going hysterical with feeling helpless as they wandered around, not knowing if there was an escape or way out. When it says "Hello", "Help", "Please", it was from when they encountered the creature not yet knowing what it was, but in pure isolation began speaking out to the dark shape in the gloom thinking maybe it was another person. And when it stood up and began screaming heavily, it was the gutteral sounds it copied when the person began being overwhelmed and screamed that low visceral throat shaking scream only close to death terror can produce. And the worst of the screams the creature made as it ran was from the last person was getting ripped apart while trying to thrash about and defend..... Even more creepy is I imagine it matches the sounds with what's going on.. for example the crying when things are still and motionless.. when when it encounters another person, it becomes excited and uses the gutteral scream from the last person in that moment
Funny fact: this level was before an important people settlement. It was well known for being a great economic centre because of the commerce of concrete. Slowly, because of the continuous mining, the level became unstable and full of entities and all the people left the town (with some unlucky ones). This is so sad and creepy at the same time
Honestly this is my favourite version of level 22. I prefer this over the abandoned car park. Honestly it hits hard as a liminal space because it reminds me of when i was very young and i was in these massive supermarket parkings at night. I was very small so the whole place felt surreal and massive. Like an endless street with nothing but street lamps all the way.
Yes, this feels right. Good job. Would have been scarier if the monster mimicked the sounds of the protagonist instead. "hELLO, aNyone? *distorted voice*" The monster animation was decent. The sound design was amazing.
nahhh, i disagree, i think the ghoulish wailing/wailing was really fucking good, especially with the environment and atmosphere, the way it got louder, and it wasn’t too much of it, sounded perfect imo
the video was almost perfect, the only thing that was slightly wrong is that the entity stood still for a moment before starting to chase it, but it's a very small mistake, amazing video.
I find it funny that after 21 levels of monsters the guy literally goes "HELLOO ANYONE" and approaches those cries (obvious skin-stealer at this point). *I love the video though.*
This gave me chills to the bone. Horrific. You captured the helpless dream state perfectly. The sound was absolutely terrifying. The space was simply a strange uncanny expanse of strangeness. The entity was very ominous and not overdone. Masterful!
The way this entity use the cries of its last victims r something else. More creepy then the skin walker who also mimics its last victims. But it uses voices instead of cries
Omg, you are very talented!.. I wanted some more realistic echoes/sound, with more scary silence effect (without sound of lamps) to be more amazing! Ending and light/lenses effects is awesome
I don't know how you do it but it was so real I almost actually thought it was real damn CGI is getting more complex these days you did an awesome job dude!
He fell into the void... Possibly one of the worst fates in the entire omniverse. Explanation: The void is an infinitely large "expanse" of absolute nothingness. Time moves near infinitely slower than the rest of reality and the backrooms respectively; upon entering the void you will lose all of your sanity nearly instantly (especially if you know about this level and what fate you've been assigned). No longer dancing around the fact, you will be doomed to fall for all of time and beyond. You can't die. You can't breathe. You can't fall unconscious. You cannot even close your eyes, let alone go to sleep. It is far worse than hell in every such way. It is so inescapable that you aren't even in a state of mind to realize that escaping is simply inexistent. There is no out of the box thinking you can even perceive now that you are here, let alone if you aren't. You are projected all of your senses towards the bigger picture you can no longer see thanks to how insane you've fallen. Being sane here and having fantasies only for the void to tear it away from you and bring you back to infinite consciousness. You're doomed to fall for all of eternity lifelessly filled with consciousness and now anomalously indestructible nerves that have been put to exactly 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 times the intensity of what a human can withstand for just the slightest of a second. You've been forgotten. You will never be put into heaven or hell. You've never even been given existence. Myth: It is said that the entire population of child facelings entities know the truth that there is a near 100% chance of falling directly into the void and being given such an infinitely horrific fate, but it's just the fact that we don't remember anyone that has fallen into the void instead of the backrooms, even as if they never existed at all in any timeline of anywhere in all of the entirety of this omniverse, not even a single trace of THEM whatsoever. After all, it is indeed rare to fall into the backrooms, isn't it? Not so much can be said with first noclipping into the backrooms in the first place though...
The visuals are terrifying and convincing. The sounds on their own are terrifying, but I don't see how those kinds of reverberations correspond to the geometry of that physical environment. Are there tiny microphones embedded in the street lamps paired with speakers to amplify and loop anything they pick up? Does the entity just play really loopy echo-y samples? Curious how it might sound to just record in a large windy parking lot and base the sound design on that acoustic. Food for thought, but I'm a big fan of your channel!
This was great work! Just a little too much echo though. Sounds needs walls or something else to bounce off of to make echo. Open space = no echo. Unless that's just backrooms shenanigans at work lol.
Scary part is also, when endless Void is Full of air and Echoes that are distancing into infinity, Entire backrooms are two worlds mixed in one, Matrix which has been inspired by mind ruining DMT drug visions and eldritch Dreams where you enter the dreamworld while asleep and Space entities are scaring you, doing horrifying pranks
*Make another of this level please to help it grow it is genially one of the best backrooms levels I’ve seen and that entity also I want to see more of it I’m begging u op!!*

Really great - the sound appeared to be coming from everywhere and nowhere at the same time. I don't even think most people would know which direction to run in! Another case where making a lot of sounds/calling out for help was totally the wrong move on this level. I think this entity makes a reappearance at another level in a supermarket
DUDE I KEEP REWATCHING THIS THIS IS SUPERB🌟🤝🌟🤝🌟
The fact this level canonically was a place where it was technically a city and a trading outpost, with people everywhere. And now it’s abandoned. And broken down, and now that thing is ruling it all.
Hearing crying in the middle of the night is a big "fuck no" for me, so this was pretty chilling already. I'm seeing so much stuff that is making me want to write a crazy story.
I have been looking for _this video_ for months. I searched my history and playlists, scoured YT for “backrooms lot” or “backrooms smiley” to no avail. I came across a comment that said “level 22- parking lot,” and so I queried “backrooms level 22” and _I knew._
*This particular video literally haunted me.*
Subbed, saved, will never forget. Nightmare fuel, a masterpiece.
This deserves far more views
They had no choice. There’s no where to hide and either you get consumed somehow or fall into an abyss. I know I’ve been in that situation before too and I also fell.
If this entity is a smiler, then lampposts are islands of safety, smilers cannot pass through the light, he could run between lampposts, simultaneously looking for a way out of the level.
top tier backrooms content. so good
Level 22 and now my favorite and scariest level to me, really good video, keep up the good work!
This is so sad and creepy at the same time
This is 940 u are mistaken
@@Yvng_YBK-RRR ?
Wdym, he isnt mistaken. You are.
@@dudoiio no lvl 22 is a destroyed parking garage with yellow beams and broken cars everywhere
@@dudoiio
You can only get to lvl 940 through lvl 22 that might be the mix up
Honestly this is my favourite version of level 22. I prefer this over the abandoned car park. Honestly it hits hard as a liminal space because it reminds me of when i was very young and i was in these massive supermarket parkings at night. I was very small so the whole place felt surreal and massive. Like an endless street with nothing but street lamps all the way.
wow this is definitely one of the really good backrooms videos made so far
People are saying they don’t like the monsters, but the sound that is familiar yet indiscernible really adds to the liminal space aspect.
Yes, this feels right. Good job.
Would have been scarier if the monster mimicked the sounds of the protagonist instead. "hELLO, aNyone? *distorted voice*"
The monster animation was decent.
That’s exactly how running with a camera looks like out of frame shaky and chaotic
Bruh the wailing/laughing echoing in my ear creeps me tf out ... freaking awesome job lol
This was the scariest backroom video I've seen so far this was dope keep up
1:35 *What it feels to chew 5 gum*
aside from that joke, this was nicely done. I applaud you.
I find it funny that after 21 levels of monsters the guy literally goes "HELLOO ANYONE" and approaches those cries (obvious skin-stealer at this point). *I love the video though.*
Amazing, I was encapsulated by the tension, design, and sounds. Incredibly well made
you have a talent for this :) keep it up!
I appreciate it!
You sound like you need your feet worshipped. Don’t worry I’m here for you 🙋♂️🧎♂️🙇👄👅🦶
This is amazing i love how it lures you by mimicking a human the screams, laughs and the sobbing makes it so much better great job!
This gave me chills to the bone. Horrific. You captured the helpless dream state perfectly. The sound was absolutely terrifying. The space was simply a strange uncanny expanse of strangeness. The entity was very ominous and not overdone.
Masterful!
crazy how the camera man would rather jump off the building than be killed by the entity, it shows just how scary and dangerous the entity’s are
your getting better doing this, i like this vid
The way this entity use the cries of its last victims r something else. More creepy then the skin walker who also mimics its last victims. But it uses voices instead of cries
Ahh.. Yes... A Level That Is Peaceful! But Something Is Lurking, You Hear Something...
Holy crap the way that the mimic sounded was terrifying and the fact that you jumped off at the end was crazy
This was really the scariest backrooms video I've ever seen!
Omg, you are very talented!.. I wanted some more realistic echoes/sound, with more scary silence effect (without sound of lamps) to be more amazing! Ending and light/lenses effects is awesome
It's odd how the cries of help at 1:52 up to 2:06 made me think it was some sort of cool music
Very cool
I don't know how you do it but it was so real I almost actually thought it was real damn CGI is getting more complex these days you did an awesome job dude!
Probably the scariest sounds I've ever heard in my life. God that was bonechilling
No jumpscares, just pure terror, great work!!! I loved it
You're so good at making backrooms found footage
That is fantastic!!!!
Nice work I like it
Damn dude. You nailed this in every way. This right here is the epitome of anyones worst nightmare.
I love how at the end, the sound of the wind never stops. That basically tells us that our person will be falling forever .
Thanks for this experience!
Wow. This is exceptional, and gave me chills. The echo, everything. Excellent, well done, I adore this :D
The cold, damp, wide open desolation is even creepier than the claustrophobic, neon lit hallways.
Now THIS is the backrooms
The feeling of Abyss, dark all around you, with minor lighting, not knowing what awaits beyond... I tip my hat to you.
It’s feels weirdly nostalgic right? I hope more is made of this level from any creator at all
@@Yvng_YBK-RRR yeah, this was amazing
*Make another of this level please to help it grow it is genially one of the best backrooms levels I’ve seen and that entity also I want to see more of it I’m begging u op!!*
Just found your channel, keep it up man this is great
how is there so much echo though? the sound cant bounce back
Back rooms physics 🤷🏽
Alright that was kickass...I usually just stick with KP since most other BR knockoffs are basically lame but definitely going to watch the rest of yours...I believe this is the farthest I've been into the backrooms...well done!!!
