It was my pleasure boss. Thank you for sharing your work and parts of your life the world. You are an amazing artist. I’ll be digging through your crates. Be safe bro and stay blessed. I’m here any time if you need me 🙏 👊
Ekoh is probably the most criminally underknown rapper and wordsmith of his generation. The man has and endless catalogue of phenomenal music. Some that really hit the heart strings and talk about really tough subjects, (Duadrie) Pop Culture references for days, (Pickle Rick) or the best nerd rap you've ever heard (Endgame) He's an independent artist the likes of Tech N9ne and Tom MacDonald. I saw him live a few years back before covid, and he's just the most genuine human you'll ever meet. He calls his music #Hearthop. Ive been an Ekoh fan for over a decade now, and regret nothing. Ekoh also does songs with Chris Webby, King Iso, Futuristic, and so many others. Hope to see more of this here.
Used to have a bad pill addiction 4 - 5 years back, went to rehab, been clean ever since... but a lot of very tough life issues the last 2 years had me leaning on alcohol more and more, which I never thought I'd say.. but over time, I ended up taking an entire 5th or more to the head every single night. I'm proud to say though, I'm 1 week sober today, on Easter. I know it's not long, but it's the longest I've been dry in atleast 2 years. I'm done. I'm not giving in. Just one day at a time. I've been applying everything I learned in rehab which has helped tremendously. My favorite quote I heard while I was in was, "One is too many, a thousand is never enough." Sooo true and it applies to anything. Best wishes to those out there battling the demon. It's hard.. very hard. But your life will improve drastically if you make up your mind to stop. Reach out to others if you need help and be totally straight up and honest.. that's what I did when I realized I couldn't do it on my own. Do not be ashamed! We're only human! You got this! Always remember, YOU are the author of your life story and YOU CAN take back control! God bless! 🙏
Ekoh is amazing and great writing. If you haven't heard it yet he has a song called Peace ft Ember. It's got some good bars but it's like how you described this song. It's a real song with a message that alot of people can relate to. I would love to see you react to it.
My man! Thank you so so much for the reaction. I appreciate you really diving in.
