Both were phenomenal Vocalists and Performers.People can say what they will , about David' s ego and drug addiction ....Still doesn't take away the fact that Brotha could ...blow( sing) do splits and be back on his feet!! He and Ollie/ Ali were the ultimate / consummate performers!!. My 2 favorite Temptations....Eddie( Cornbread) Kendricks Mr.👀🍬) Vocals were smooth as ....Silk💫💫 And Brotha Ollie Woodson( even though he came on the scene years later.) May all of The Temptations ....(those who were there from the start and those who came to the group later, and have gone on to Glory).... R.I.P🙏🏾🙌🏾😔🍃
Absolutely right! Ollie was a top notched singer. You won't see another lead singer with that kinda class in the next 100yrs. Straight up. Real sangers "singers" know exactly what I mean.🙂 He's someone who's mark will always draw attention for his vocals. CAN'T BE DUPLICATED. HIM AND RANCE ALLEN were the best. By my opinion ONLY. ✌
one of my favorite vids of all time... likely 1984 or 1985 at the historic roostertail in detroit, which still exists but now caters entirely to private parties and functions... though it is still beautiful and in recent years has become even more beautiful and is now becoming a very popular and affluent place to have parties... anyway, sweet video, and the always incredible ali woodson sounds awesome
I don't want to know, between watching this over and over on VHS as a kid and UA-cam now, how many times I've seen this. It has to be over a thousand times at this point. This is peak-Ali.

Being a professional drummer not any electronic, synthetic garbage I absolutely admire the natural gift of Ollie and his vocals as well as his presence. Rest in peace Ollie in the loving name of Jesus Christ. Soul has no color. It's what is in the heart that counts the most.😊
i heard this on radio so i thought i check this song out, i was expecting some cheesy rnb boyband but I have only just discovered the temptations ( im 14), and this song is sikk. Hopefully this song is aavailable on itunes

This man was the GREATEST lead singer the Temps ever had. Just my opinion! He went from Bass, to Barrtone, to 1st Soprano in a blink of an eye!

You sure got that right!! He is a kick ass singer that brought The Temptations back into the Top 10 in the 80s.
