Awesome! Thanks for sharing so much with the community! Friendships built for life when I cut my teeth on AD&D 2nd edition. We still play. Crafting great things learned from you!
Coming back after what might be around or over 8 years since I made a castle for one of my campaigns based off your instructions; So glad to see you're still doing this, and the finds are so cool!
Great stuff Fella! I'm from the UK, so i rummage in 'Poundland' or charity shops. I found this chip fryer mesh tray thing. Great for making covers for vents or ruined fences. There were also these plastic gems. I immediately thought of some mine on an alien planet or a power source for a mech. Awesome what's knocking about ain't it. 😂👍
The Dollar Tree is one of my favorite places for terrain. The Fairy Garden set has lots of different things to use for tabletop. The Halloween and Christmas village sets are great too.
Just as a major thing that I've been working on, if you have a Dollar Tree with the Plus section, there are some of the wooden "canvas" things intended as things for people to paint on. There are several sizes that could actually work for some more durable dungeon designs where you might have several and just build dungeons that way. I'm also using their 1' square ones as the basis for a modular board for wargaming using the top of them with simple things rather than where they're hollow (but they have a lot of different size ones.)
I recently found some fondant sculpting tools at DT and they are perfect for, well, sculpting. They have semi rigid plastic tips and they have a variety of tips. I've tried them on various materials, from sculptamold to XPS and they work great
Really liking these videos. You should start hitting up some thrift stores or flea markets, Scotty! I always find interesting stuff than can be turned to terrain. I'd be interested to see a video on it.
That intro is the best audiovisual piece in history
Nothing but 'high tech' here at the craft.
Thank you for coming back to crafting , Obi Wan
Hey Scotty, great to see this video. The idea process is often challenging, and you are always coming up with affordable crafting options. Thanks!
That "water squirter" is hilarious!
LOL
The bit about the mini cordial glasses being great for flying characters! What a great vid!
Thanks =)
Good to see a video need to do more and then yes more! Great stuff
I love using clear plastic glasses for flight/elevation stands. They work great especially if they need to stand over another mini.
great point

Great finds,I'll have to grab some of those next weekend for sure.
Keep up the good work!
Those stickers look like they could be placed right on a dungeon tile. Some great finds there Scotty!
Yeah, cool stuff like traps, gates, or magic.

Still, here just mot as active as in the past.
@@theDMsCraft Still seem wildly creative from my perspective, never would've thought about making a plastic coconut chiller a hut, but that's genius!

This channel is amazing!!!
Very kind, thank you.
I’ve been using those clear cups as flight stands for years, most minis still find under them as well!
Agreed. We put a die under the glass to denote altitude.
