All stock.. done up repairing almost everything last year.. mileage 210k KM n still steady (engine n gearbox untouched). My Camry is still responsive for pick up & great comfort on highway. Been with me for 7 years since. Travelled with me to many places include Singapore and Thailand. 😁
You still see a lot of this old Camry generation on the road today. They are reliable and can last for years. You will see a lot this model in Australia as well.

Old Toyota brakes are spongy. The brakes are not good enough for emergency brake since it’s just Single Pot caliper and need to stop a 1500kg car. I drive Camry XV50 and I upgraded the caliper to Lexus’s 4 pot caliper 😁
Dont think of the road tax alone. Think about the safety features as well. The 2.4V road tax is rm 742.00, the addtional road tax cost gives you safety featires such as VSC, TRC n EBD, no to mention u get Auto Cruise, Rear Powered Screen Blind and rear passenger door blinds. For the facelift u get even more, keyless entry and welcome light, but these are not so important. Treat the additional road tax as insurance and you will not feel so painful.

Camry's 2.4 litre has problems of 'burning oil' after 200 000km. 2.0 litre is way easier to maintain & the engine is bullet proof.
I just plan to buy one and the prices are still above rm32k for 2.0G Camry. So means the price really is solid.

Old Toyota brakes are spongy.

The front disc got a little problem when braking during rainy day..just changed the ori disc to brembo disc..problem solved 🤗

这量其实本人蛮喜欢的，的确认同比XV50感觉比较舒服和好看。很多人讲是Uncle车，本人不是很认同，也可以很年轻化，35k XV50.很不错也很耐。好过买Bezza Saga 咯。

這台Spec跟我爸的一模一樣只是我家的是黑色的也是2007的2.0G沒有天窗白內裝
但是台灣這邊的G Spec都是有VSC的，下面有個E Spec就沒有，就算是2.4也會沒有VSC
