Yeah.. I honestly can’t agree. Playin before the patch I had to have a different jumper for different game modes because latency was so different.. park was basically unplayable for me. To be clear my internet is great I get like 650 MB/S downloading (no idea what upload speed is) but it was basically unplayable. Could only play rec and theatre and if you were playing cross platform had to change your timing because it made it worse
2k community is the dumbest community instead of adjusting people want things to go backwards
The game literally hasn’t changed since the patch, everything they said they fixed is still in the game the only thing that changes is the delay and shooting

The shooting animations got faster but the major issue is the drastic latency between games. The constant chopping games it’s best to limit your 3 until the game smooths itself late in the game. Was shooting 65% from three pre patch now shooting 62-63. But it’s not unplayable. It’s so important to hit your first few shots

I aint gon lie when i hopped on my jumper timing definitely seemed way faster and my visual cue changed from what it was, i was confused why i kept shooting slightly lates but I adjusted to it

@@remypotter6973 no you’re thinking dumb shit, majority of the people claim they’re shots are faster or they shooting slightly lates, 2k fixed the delay so everything feels faster than before bc there is no more delay, so ppl got use to the delay, the update came & everything’s faster like it should’ve been so you pretty much are learning a new shot, & majority of ppl are bums anyways , i shot 50% across all builds on the game and i shoot nearly 60% now so majority of yall can’t shoot or got shitty wifi

Honestly i don’t think it’s our shot. I think it’s just the delay/latency. I’ve shot 8/8 and 5/6. Then go 4/15, 2/12, and 1/11. I know my shot, but for that to happen i think the game is bugged. I only shoot wide opens btw, no fades or contested shots.

I really adjusted to the shooting before the patch .. I was shooting like 67% in over 100 games and now I can’t hit a wide open. It’s crazy. They ruined a game that was on its way to being really good smh 2k always fails

I use set point personally and still do totally fine. I have 2k labs premium and I still just don’t think A+ release speed is the move for anyone over 6’4. Slow your jumper down stop changing all your visual cues that’s not the issue I personally still think if you’re good enough to use an earlier cue you should use it.
For comp players faster is always better, less time for the defender to close out.
Crazy cause I couldnt shoot before but I can now. 94 3pt and im at least okay at shooting every year. Was shooting a solid 10% before patch
What shooting setting do you use?

I honestly haven’t had issues with shooting since patch with Push Timing and Ben Sheppard - Seddiq Bey - Oscar Robertson 50/50 @ full speed and release at the top. I’ve been shooting a solid 65% from 3
How tall is your player? Is this for bigs?
He probably has a 85 to 99 3 pointer if he doesn't notice a difference
I have a 79 and you can tell a huge difference in rec rec was unplayable for a few days

My lag is still so bad, my screen freeze up for almost a whole second ....I can't play def, and the jumper...shm, I just kept my old jumper deleted and remade it could hit opens but not all the time and then if I made my first I didn't shoot again until I got my takeover then I could shoot again....I thought 2k 23 was bad...I would love to be playing 23 again ....my lag is in cross play allot....2k just needs to six it...all this money we spend for game like this. I know I'm not doing again...u guys keep ballin 💯🏀

Shits been outta wack since they removed the delay. They did not have to "buff open shots" because the shooting was perfectly fine prior to that. I shot great the day of the patch so I don't think it was me not being adjusted to the quicker shooting, but since then, I've been inconsistent.
I shot 7/8 FG one game and the next game shot 1/7 from 3, the worst 3pt% I've EVER had. I've been playing online since 2K16 🤣
I shoot the same way....2k just needs to fix this game. We spend way to much for a game that has so many problems...I still have lag in my games ...it freeze up half the time for a whole second....with the 💰 2k is getting seems like they could make game that works ...keep ballin 💯🏀

Before patch I shot like 40%. After patch I’m now shooting 60-70% an it’s a million times smoother. An I’m playing w a guard on a 86 3pt. Shootings better than it was before so I honestly hope it stays the same. Also using push timing cue. Release time cue is literally ass an I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If u like it u like it but to me it’s trash!
I went back to push on the same exact shot and it's good to go. I think the patch made release less reliable.
If they just make a 2k16 remaster without seasons back to how it was then it would be the best game of 2020-2024

So I got a floor spacing slasher with a 90 3 ball and I'm shooting 25% what am I doing wrong??? Like I got my hotzones and lethal zones. But in rec I'll go 2/5 for 3s I use dirk jumpshot

It's bad when I shoot better with delay lmaoo...I usually shoot 60% plus from 3 every yr. I was 59% before patch and I'm down to 51% 3pt now...in 3-4 days. Getting better tho. I don't wanna change anything..but I might have to try release.

Im far from a top player and i run PG and shoot mostly off the dribble dont catch and shoot much and im shooting 59% on one build and 67% on my other build... the reason these players are struggling so much is because they take contested shots thats atleast open not wide open and they get in shooting slump and at that point they cant even make wide opens and are frustrated with the game when half the problem is their early game shot selection imo
