- Today we explore an abandoned farmhouse, constructed in the 1930s and left to rot in the elements less than a decade ago. The floors and ceilings are falling apart due to rain and snow and the house likely won't stay standing for much longer. Come explore this homestead with us before it's gone forever.
Man, what a shame. This house had a lot of potential. Beautiful moldings on the doors and windows. Loved the newel post and stair railing going upstairs. I wish someone could grab those pocket doors out of there before the whole place collapses... Once the roof starts going on a building, it's not long before the whole place starts going... Gotta take care of your roof!
Should check the expiration dates on food items to get a rough estimate on how long a place has been abandoned.

I live in Wisconsin, so this is very interesting to me. By watching this video, I realize abandoned houses can be dangerous. But they can also be fascinating. I was worried the floor (or the stairs) would collapse on you. I’m glad it didn’t. This video is unique in that it’s interesting, and educational, but a little scary at the same time. I’m glad I found this channel. And I’m glad it’s about the Midwest! Subscribed.

That house would've been in much better condition had it have a tin or so roof instead of those damn tar-paper shingles as the roof finish...
