    I do not need a workplace manuel anymore. Just look back to one of your video's and do the job. Thanks Glyn. The tires look stunning! For me its like meditation, listening and watching you with a coffee. Thanks again.

      Thanks very much for coming to watch, it should look even more complete next time you see it. It should be pretty much a finished bike apart from the cycle parts and things that have to wait till they're ready 👍

      I still have a workplace Manuel myself, he’s from Barcelona and although he’s only semi-skilled, he can be very useful about the place…

    Yet again, another excellent video.
    Really enjoyed watching this rebuild Glyn.
    The bike look fantastic. Was never sure of white wall tyres, but looks really good on your bike.
    People are going to start calling you
    " Mr Enfield " after this build.
    Looking forward to next video.
    Cheers

    Those white walls are beautiful but the back black paint and everything they’re beautiful, beautiful beautiful you did a great job on that.

    It has a great look now and will certainly draw lots of attention when you`re out and about.
    My concern, when you first said you intended to put large wheels on, a few videos back, is that the main stand won`t get the rear wheel off the road, particularly if there is an uneven surface and seeing them on the bike now, I think you might have a problem, even on level ground. I know you`ll work something out though 👍

    • @GlynOC
      @GlynOC  4 місяці тому +1

      Thanks David, excellent point and it's going to be really close, well spotted. It might end up standing on wheels and stand at the same time! I'll give it a try in the next video. I don't fancy extending the centre stand, maybe I'll carry a bit of wood🤪

    Exemplary work, yet again. Just a joy to watch. Bike is nice and shinny. I be there putting a coating of carnuba wax on there, for extra protection 😊.
    Coming together very nicely. These wheels are large, defo gonna give the build, a total different look. Fantastic.😊

    Looking great! Are you going to have to extend the centre stand to compensate for the bigger tyres? It could just be the camera angle but the rear wheel seems barely off the ground and that is with the stand on a piece of wood.

    • @GlynOC
      @GlynOC  4 місяці тому

      Yers, that's a possibility isn't it. I might have to fit little boots to the bottom, or carry a piece of wood around!

    Very nice to see the rebuild getting under way Glyn. Am interested in your comment about the sprocket bolts coming loose on Super Meteors (me). Where were you seeing these reports?

    • @GlynOC
      @GlynOC  4 місяці тому +1

      Thank you. It was on the Super Meteor UK Facebook group, a chap went for a ride and there was a clattering sound and all those rear bolts were about to come off, they'd unwound themselves nearly all the way! A few members checked their bikes and had loose rear sprocket bolts too, to varying degrees. You can check them although not properly torque them I guess if they spin as the bolt head is hidden when the wheel is in place 👍

    • @B0M0A0K
      @B0M0A0K 4 місяці тому +1

      @@GlynOC I will get right on that and check, thanks for the head's up Glyn. What makes it all the more difficult is the lack of workshop manual or a list of torques for this this motorbike. I hate not knowing what RE intended torque-wise for "tight bolt" 👹

  • @B0M0A0K
    @B0M0A0K 4 місяці тому +1

    With those wheels on you have the makings of a "Tron" bike.

    • @GlynOC
      @GlynOC  4 місяці тому

      The other side of them is still blue as well!

    Glyn just a quick question? When you disassembled the wiring did you take a video to help reassemble?

    • @GlynOC
      @GlynOC  4 місяці тому

      Hi, I did video the taking apart though probably did it too quickly to be super useful! The wiring usually falls back into place exactly where it came from and connectors are usually unique or colour coded so it's fairly foolproof.....but not certain!

  • @jrnmller1551
    @jrnmller1551 4 місяці тому

    Try and look at the video, where you spin the rear wheel, is it NOT round, check before you ride!!

    • @GlynOC
      @GlynOC  4 місяці тому

      I"ll check that, thanks for looking out for it👍
