"An Occasional Dream" non è solo un concerto, ma un viaggio fatto di suoni e visioni. Un lungo percorso che vi porterà a sognare come mai avete fatto guardando uno spettacolo.
An Occasional Dream è legato alla recente uscita dell’EP “Camilla Fascinated by Bowie” dedicato al Duca Bianco e presentato in anteprima al 17° David Bowie Bash italiano, in gennaio 2015. An Occasional Dream debutterà in aprile e toccherà le più importanti città d’Italia e di Marte (che ci sia vita su Marte?)
I brani di Bowie hanno subito una sostanziale trasformazione ridando nuova vita a quelle canzoni meno conosciute che vi faranno ancora di più amare e apprezzare l’infinito lavoro di questo straordinario artista.
An Occasional Dream è uno spettacolo dedicato a tutti coloro che per una notte vorranno vestire i panni del dandy sognatore fine anni ‘60 o dell’alieno venuto da Marte, del Thin White Duke o del decadente Pierrot.
Progetto artistico di Camilla Fascina, Daniele Pensavalle, Federico Sambugaro e Luca Coretti.

An Occasional Dream is a show entirely dedicated to one of the most influential rock icons in history: David Bowie.
Camilla Fascina now launches An Occasional Dream to celebrate the Thin White Duke as a follow up on her freshly released EP “Camilla Fascinated by Bowie” that was presented as an exclusive preview at the 17th Italian David Bowie Bash held in January, 2015.
The show is more than a concert, it will be a journey through talks, sounds, and visions.
A long journey that will make you dream as you never did before.
An Occasional Dream will soon be debuting on tour - with the first date in April - in the most important cities across Italy and on Mars (is there life on Mars?).
All Bowie’s songs have been uniquely arranged and some Bowie’s obscure gems have been brought back to life again. They will capture you and bring you into a whole new world.
An Occasional Dream is a show created for all those who wish to dress - at least for one night - the part of the late 60s dreaming dandy or the Alien from Mars, the Thin White Duke or the quaint Pierrot.

I was a Bowie fan before even becoming a teen (around 1977 - Old Grey Whistle Test etc.) and I’ve got many of his original singles. Then around the late 80s for some reason Ithought he’d stopped making good songs. Iheard this song when I watched Lost Highway in 1997 while a PhD student with other students who’ve become long term friends. I thought, ‘wow this is really good; David Bowie is still making great songs’. I came back to Bowie and have been listening to his songs since. This is a great interpretation of the song and catches the mood Lost Highway: was this intentional? For example, red lips play a part (in the telephone conversations) between the two female characters and then there’s the split between the colour version and monochrome face version half-way through your video (I could go on). It’s just a great video - David Bowie would have approved (in the spirit of performance art, perhaps?) simple yet effective. I can’t praise you enough. Thank you for this. I recommend subscribing too...

Insieme a Robert Fripp dei King Crimson, Brian Eno scrisse il grande capolavoro di Bowie, ovvero Heroes. Per questo motivo il pezzo del Duca bianco viene definito come il brano della Triade. Non mancarono poi collaborazione con i Talking Heads e con gli Ultravox. (cit.) da :
