En fin de compte j'ai découvert Nico en rapport avec Ari Boulogne, son fils avec Alain Delon qu'il n'a jamais reconnu. Femme libre comme souvent elles étaient à cette époque. Ari et sa maman vont se retrouver. Reposez en paix

@@AlikaLi357 It's suspicious that Delon refused to do a DNA test. If knew he wasn't Ari's father, then why didn't he do the test to clear his name? He obviously slept around, but Nico just ended up pregnant. It was known that they were lovers around the time Purple Noon was filmed and Ari looks a lot like Alain. Alain was just in denial for who knows what reason. It was probably shame or he just didn't care about Nico and Ari. It was very telling of his character when he told his mother that she had to choose between him or raising Ari. Alain's mother also said in an interview that she knew Ari was her grandson and that she thought Alain would have claimed him as his son.

I've never found anything attractive about Nico to be honest.. She's quite manly in her facial features.. Some guys might like that.. I don't know
I´m guessing they were pretty much aware of one another and I´m fairly certain they would have hated one anothers´ guts in life . Specially in the 60/70s when both were young and stunning .
Never underestimate female competition ... even these lyrics sound somewhat patronizing if you think of it . Song is decent though .

We worked in the music industry so we was very fortunate in getting front row seats and I got my album cover signed by Marianne.man that's made me feel old thinking back Lol.
Je l'ai découverte grâce à Ari son fils décédé récemment. Il avait écrit un livre en 2001 ou il explique bien leur vie à tous les 2 ainsi que Delon son père qui ne l'a jamais reconnu.

I met Nico, in a dive bar in the East Village, NYC. She walked off the stage because a table of ignorant, idiot, tourists made fun of her..She came and sat at the bar stool next to mine, I asked her if she was going back on stage later, she looked at me square in the eye, made a grunting sound and walked away, she never came back on stage. She died a year later. I so much love her, as this song says, she was Innocent, Nico will live-on for-ever!!!

I really wish I would have had the chance to meet her or at least see her play live. Read the book . It will bring you into her world the last year or so 😊

I did meet Marianne Faithfull in 2011 and she was lovely, addressed me as "my child". Very warm and friendly.

Nico is the epiphany of the 70ies: beautiful, passionate, decadent, talented and fascinating. Like the decade. You only can tell that 50 years later actually. Little did I know that what was coming would be so clean and ugly.
The woman deserved a stronger song, even if this one is a nice hommage. I'd see more of a D Bowie song, Berlin period.
She was all I loved about the late 70 - early 80ies. No way out and therefore so authentic and touching. It won't ever return I guess.

I just had to tell you how much I appreciated this song. I performed live for many years and used to sing all tomorrow's parties that Nico did with the Velvet Underground. People have said my arrangement of the Piece was very pretty and it was performed on an acoustic guitar in the upper positions. I was able to sounds like Nico when I sang and even use the German accents of speech she had while using English in song.
This song you recorded/wrote/dedicated to Nico had characteristics of the Velvet Underground & Nico herself when she sang. It just became one of my favorite things to listen to!❤❤❤❤❤
