Hello, How do I get Genexpand to simply extend a plain background? everytime iItry it either changes to colour or puts a pattern in it. I simply want to expand a square image so when printed on canvas the plain coule background wraps round the sides
Hi Julie, I'm sorry to hear that the tool isn't working the way you need it to. Recently, I saw someone who cropped their image larger than they needed to in the Edit module. They then exported the image and used GenSwap to replace the extra part. I'm not entirely sure if this is the correct way to do it, but it's worth giving it a try.
Thanks I'll give it a try
great review, great bundle. Do you have tutos changing a street... photo to a subtle (opacity slider of the layer with masks on people...) painting with Neo or other (ie: topaz simplify+impression) ? Skylum support advises to try neon+glow but not sure it makes the job.
Hi Marc, I am not 100% sure what you trying to do. Would you explain it little further? Or get in touch directly 👉 jakub@borsphoto.com
GenExpand tool is pretty amazing.
We 100% agree 👍
I'd have to disagree
merci pour cette bonne nouvelle, vite au travail....😉
Je vous en prie 🙏
do these ai tools also show up in the photoshop plug in? I could not find them?
Hi, I am afraid that the tools are not available in the plug-in version yet. In past this functionality was introduce with a delay when the tools was stable in the stand-alone version of the program, so let's hope it's going to be soon.
When will the Mac version be out?
Never mind. I just checked and it popped in.
No worries... it should be all ready for you 🤝
Luminars Gen expand is nowhere near as good as Adobe's offering
It still needs improvement, but it's important to mention that it was not built in the same way as the Adobe tool. I am sure it will improve as we continue to use it.
Agreed. The demo was very misleading and there's no way to try it out for free. I'm getting quite the distortion. Glad I only paid for one month.
