John Fontana of Shadow Circus Discusses New Album "From the Shadows"

After an unexpected absence for a couple of weeks due to illness (a touch of which you'll still hear in my voice), MRC is back and I'm pleased to bring you early access to my interview with Shadow Circus guitarist John Fontana. Shadow Circus just released the band's fourth studio album, From the Shadows, but it's their first in more than a decade. The East Coast progressive rockers are back with a heavier and darker album than what they've released in the past, but the melodies, musicianship, and hooks are still in there. Instead of leaning on literature and cinema, the band gets real on this one.
