    Very nice performance ! Maybe someone can help - how to set up joystick (any stick) control and config in the game ?

    A pity the campaign mode does not future any kind of attrition. This campaign in particular is pretty much impossible to win, and it's the first somehow. Due to a developer oversight, Port of Call is the last campaign but actually was meant to be the second in the list, in place of Urgent Shield

      Yeah, it's not Falcon 4 level dynamic campaing, no ground war too. I never truly played TAW thoroughly in the past, so it will be an interesting experience (or maybe frustrating one).

    Hold on. At 1:26, how did you immediately fast forward from being on the tarmac to on the end of the runway instantly? When I played TAW vanilla, my plane would explode sometimes either when I'm taxiing or taking off because collisions with other taxiing aircraft is possible unlike in TAW 2.0. Never bothered to try vanilla TAW again after because of that happening.
    Edit: Same thing at 2:50. Why was I not aware of this feature until just watching this and is it possible on TAW 2.0 as well?

      1. I'm using time skip function (Shift - S) to skip to next action sequence - this feature was present since EF2000.
      2. You can disable ground collisions by editing the game.cfg file in \TAW\PROGRAM\ directory - set:
      NO_COLLISION_ON_GROUND=1
      there are few more handy options like:
      LAND_AT_ANY_BASE=1 - the mission will be deemed successful, even if you land at other friendly airbase
      REARM_WINGMEN=1 - when you land to refuel/rearm, your wingman will be also rearmed
      Time skip should be available in TAW 2.0 as well since it's a core game feature, but be careful as you can end up as me at 3:47 with a lot of bandits all around you.

      I installed f22 taw 2.0 i can start it up and i can fly it but soon as i try to move the plane or try to shoot the game crached, And i am stuck on low res even when i try to change it in the taw launcher

      @@Peter-bakker Well, I'm not using TAW 2.0, this is the original vanilla release with nGlide as 3dfx wrapper.

    ought to be an interesting watch considering this is the only sim dedicated to the F-22; wish this game supported modern controllers though

      F22 Lightning II, F22 Raptor and F22 Lightning 3 are sims by Novalogic dedicated to the F22.

      @@Tristan559 Though Novalogic was more on the arcade side. Eventhough NL had the licence from Lockheed, DID's rendition was way more ambitious and realistic representation of the aircraft. There was also iF-22 from Interactive Magic: www.mobygames.com/game/2281/if-22/

      ​​​@@damsonn I'd say a more complex recreation of avionics. The F-22 in TAW is all but realistic, it can employ a much wider range of AG weapons (the real one can only use GPS-guided GBUs) and it features LANTIRN, IRST and an HMD. The Raptor has never got anything of this yet. F-22 Raptor by NovaLogic is arcade but features correct loadouts and weapons. In any case, by making the F-22 more versatile in ADF/TAW, the devs made a much more engaging game. The real Raptor would have been boring to use with only GBUs and AIM missiles.

      @@Menrva13 Yeah, I'm aware many of the systems were wild guesses on the DID's side, but the overall way the avionics work in ADF/TAW vs NL games is way more convincing. The flight model is better, you have AAR, better wingman interaction and much more.

    You actually manage to run the vanilla game on modern computer ?

      Yes, same as with F-22 ADF. I moved the installed game from my old XP machine, didn't even tried to install it on Win 10, the installers are 16-bit which would not work, though there are some workarounds for that. The only things I'm using is tsp_speech_codec that enables the speech in the game and nGlide as a 3dfx wrapper.
