Assalamualaikum, On point, mash’Allah. This is precisely what I’ve been banging on about since 2015, if not prior to that! However, as I’m a “brownie” (excuse the term), my words NEVER got/get currency nor validation! Not that one needs validation by the people as Allah SWT knows all and He SWT is the ultimate judge. i think the insignificance of the father is only just a reflection of society at the moment. Men really need to step up in this regard to change these perceptions. start with the insitutute of marriage. the husbands role 'qawammah' what does this really mean, need more talks about this in depth
