Good morning Kevin! I currently really like the format of 5 best looking vs 5 struggling plants, I think it reflects reality of caring for plants so it's very relatable. Anyway, still loved your show and tell today!
Hi Kevin ! First of all, pardon my english, I'm french and I understand the language but I'm not that fluent when talking or writing. I really appreciate your videos, your personnality ! I especially like the plants chores ! Bye from Bordeaux !
I watch a lot of plant UA-cam, so I see a lot of favourites videos, but I still enjoy watching them! I definitely prefer plant-chore videos at the moment though :) But either way, I watch the favourites!
You've just had me shouting at the TV..... "Wrap it around first" 😂😂 I do like the favourite videos but I prefer your maintenance videos with advice etc. You have taught me a tonne about moving over to pon, watering, light and blasting my Hoya. Keep doing what you are doing. ❤🌿❤
I think I used to really love the favorites videos because I was learning about different plants and learning what I liked. Now I guess I’m more interested in the care, as I’m always wanting to learn more about how folks care for their plants. I still watch the favorites tho, especially with my favorite UA-camrs, like you!!!
Me too. I had found a curtisii at Home Depot but it had been water logged and I tried to grow it for 3 months and it did nothing. I couldn’t get it to prop either
Beautiful monstera. I saw another plant creator uses Pon directly in nursery container and then places that into cover pot. But my question is how much water do you add and for fertilizing how much do you reduce the amount of fertilizer compared to soil plants. Tfs
part way through the video while im commenting but I wanted to say, I personally havent been watching plant videos (not only yours but others) due to what I feel was a plant depression - I didnt want to watch videos of plant content while I wasnt doing well with my plants, its been like 6 months. All this to say maybe the monthly favorites is not a reflection of the entertainment of your content but of the audience - I loved watching the monthly faves I just wasnt in a good place (I know my one view doesnt speak for all people) but maybe its the audience ebbing and flowing in waves. Does that make sense? Also now that im back to a positive headspace I will be binge watching everything i missed!!
Agreed. My sweet dog of 16 years passed away last week, and I started watching paranormal stuff because it did the best job of getting me out of my head. Plant videos were reminding me of how i was neglecting my plants while deep in my grief. I’m starting to feel human again so plant videos are now giving me some inspiration and motivation to start caring for them again!
For your worries regarding favourites: i like them but have a no-plant-shipping-in-winter situation going on so i noticed to skip them from time to time, and watch them later just to gush over your collection
😂 it certainly looks like gravel, but it’s a bit more purposeful than the gravel out on the road - don’t use that for your plants! Pon is a soil-free growing substrate that uses zeolite, pumice, lava rock, and slow-released fertilizer… these types of rocks hold and wick moisture up. “Pon” is technically a brand name of the substrate by a brand called lechuza (it’s what @kevin. uses) but it’s sort of what “Kleenex” is to facial tissue… so even if people don’t have the actual Lechuza pon (or brand name Kleenex boxes) some people will call any type of similar mix pon. Hopefully that makes sense lol
I prefer the plant chore videos and wax plant Wednesday. I think your favorite videos seem to be anthurium heavy which isn’t my favorite. I only have one and it’s going out in my purge. It just doesn’t bring me joy.

18:30 "I am corcerned" keywords us nurses use to escalate shit at work. 😂 Little dramatic in this situation, but these videos always dramatic. 😂
Is Anthurium Forgetii a climber ? Why do you it on a pole ?
Was that sentence correct? It’s the morning 😂 describes how I feel all the time 😅
What exactly is pon? Gravel?
