@1010Bass Uh oh, that sounds like you mean business :) now it's pretty difficult to make a living as a musician nowadays, but I think that the combination of bands you stated there could offer a pretty interesting mixture :) looking forward to hearing your stuff!

Hey man. The guitar is recorded through an AMT SS20 preamp straight into the soundboard, into a Logoc audio DAW.

@dobibo123 hmmmm, I can't say I'm mastering theory, I mean, I know stuff but I always feel like I know nothing :))))) I'm using my ears a lot as well - I think that's the most honest and nice way to let things happen. I always hear things in my head and then play them!

@1010Bass Hey mate, I record with an AMT SS20 or through a POD Farm, boosting stuff sometimes with a Suhr Shiba Drive.
@CosminLupuBaritone Thanks Cosmin. I wrote a song recently the parts are established but not rhythms yet. My best friend has been playing for 3 years as opposed to my 3 months, but he and my drummer were surprised at it and like it a lot. I am trying to get it recorded soon for just the guitars and drums. :) I'll post it up. And well there are A LOT f bands getting signed now even some really questionable ones, Making a living means getting signed to a good label like Sumerian (aiming for)

Do you only use your Preamp again? The sound is a bit different to your Drop A Breakdown Video. It also sounds nice, no question ;)

@CosminLupuBaritone Hahaha I thinkit's funny that you are asking me about labels. =) But from what I understand, if you do a lot of your own release work like on facebook and such and you tour with bands that are well known IN THE SCENE you want to be in they will also post videos and comments like "on tour with our good friends Aria." Also tour with a slight mixture of bands close to your genre but with a larger fan base like some metal bands that are more well known in UK and US.

@CosminLupuBaritone Then you have to send demos of your CD's to every label you can find and get an endorsement or two if you want, Try and do reviews for equipment to get your music out a bit more and let regular customers of those brands see you play. An example would be like when people demo for EMG studios and such. And try hard to get that label =) Get a good one you trust and get a multiple album contract. Good Luck like the rest of us you will go somewhere with the music!

@CosminLupuBaritone You wouldn't hapen to have a track of this with out the drums do you? I really love jamming out to this on my set but the other drums just get in the way. other than that I love poundin on my set to this.
Hey how do you record your guitar?
i know this has nothing to do with the video itself but why do some guitarists put a sweatband over the nut/bottom of the headstock on their guitars??

@DaylightRobberyCA Hey there mate! You have to learn how to play very tight rhythmically and palm mute the strings while stopping and releasing them with your left hand in the same time -> chug'a'chug :D

@CosminLupuBaritone Thanks a lot. I am writing some pretty good stuff on my own, but have only been playing a little over 3 months, I played bass for 3 years first so it's not SO incredibly foreign. I am having more trouble finding a better foundation because I want guitarist and make a living and experiences off of it. I really want to get elements from oh sleeper, misery signals, the human abstract, and between the buried and me, counterparts along with "djent" like periphery ect. Need help=(
