- What is the best Exotic Ornament? Today we are going to rank every single exotic ornament for Hunter Armor in Destiny 2 in order to scientifically prove which one is the best looking.

Some exotics have more ornaments then you showed. They aren't shown because they aren't in rotation for some dumb reason. For instance Celestial Nighthawk has a more Aztec mask ornament , and Shards has a more clean looking white ornament.

I have the Shards ornament. It’s called “Deathwish”. By far one of the best looking exotic armor ornaments in the game, in my opinion.

@@unholiesthealer_928 calaban doesn't have one yet, it just came out last season. It usually take 2-3 seasons before they get their first ornament
The reason some ornaments don't show up is because they aren't in Eververse currently. Unless they show up in Archive section of Eververse, you can't preview them in collections, since you can purchase them from both now.
but the sixth coyote one is in the eververse. dk why it doesn't show up.
@@Crusty_gumbus the second statement was that it has to appear in the archive first, which being a new ornament it has not
@@Crusty_gumbus because it isn’t in Archive. You can only buy ornaments from collections if they’re at least two seasons old.

ID LIKE TO CLARIFY THE MISSING ORNAMENTS!
So I buy alot of stuff, I have a problem, so I know EXACTLY how it works.
When a season starts, we get new ornaments, but if you don't get them that season, they go away for a season, then come back the following.
For example, an exotic arm or weapon ornament released in season 18, will leave season 19, and come back on season 20.

@@TDTProductions also id like to add that AGAIN FOR EXAMPLE, the sixth coyote one may specifically be bugged, because that's a brand new ornament, it came out this season.
So idk why it wouldn't let you preview it.
But as for the older ones, thats how they work, so if you can't buy it, you can't preview it.
There are also other old ornaments that are just lost to time.
Knucklehead has a second ornament from year 1, but its just a recolor of the base exotic.
But there are a handful of armor and weapon ornaments that are unobtainable, only OG's lucky enough to have gotten them, have them.

@@LordTreeko I ran into a warlock with the Eye of another world ornament that gives the circle on the forehead area in pvp. Whole lobby spent 20 seconds just checking it out before we started fighting.
@@lenoxavalon3051 same thing happens to me, I think the ornament is from faction rally. I grinded for all 3 ornaments that rally, thank god the event was sunsetted.
Assassin's Cowl deserved at least a 10 from someone. That ornament is a godsend and it's exactly what everyone wanted from it.
Definitely one of the best ornaments they've ever made, haven't taken it off all season.

One thing to keep in mind for when y'all get to the Warlock stuff: For some reason, some of the major changes on gauntlets aren't even visible on the glove that shows in the preview.
One example is Winters Guile, where your right a gets an ice fist. But you don't see that unless you go to the inventory or complete transmog screen.

Love the series, for almost all the exotics ornaments you showed, there are ornaments that doesnt exists when you go to shade the weapon in the archive section on eveverse. Keep it going!

I kinda wish you rewinded when the guys asked “what did that piece look like normally” instead of just describing it verbally. Especially on the Jesters, the flash plate changes as well as the shading scheme of the pants.

Also: the Hrafnagud ornament for Celestial is one of the many names of Zeus, pretty badass
the Knuckleheaded Radar actually has 2 ornaments, tho one is a FWC one that you could only get from the long retired Faction Rallies. Warlocks had a Dead Orbit aligned ornament for the Eye of Another World and Titans had a New Monarchy aligned ornament for the Crest of Alpha Lupi.
It's a shame this video didn't cover all the ornaments, but I understand you didn't know about the Eververse rotation beforehand. Cool vid!
Best part about the Star-Eater's Scales ornament, the sides don't glow when you have stacks.
The base look of Gemini Jesters works really well with the Streetwise ornament set for Hunters. I think I did either Indigo Matrix or Neopop Wave to make it all come together?
Back when I didn’t have the ornament, I would run my whole set with Bergusian Night, since the cycling colors matched the varying shades of the pants
With Forest Ranger, if you have the shader Iorn Wood they kinda look like if you had em irl... I miss that
i actually own the sixth coyote ornement and for some reason you can only see it in the shop, this is for alot of exotics for some reason
Because they only show up when inspecting an Exotic if it's in the Eververse Archive, and things only go to the Archive once they've been around for awhile.
There is indeed two knucklehead radar ornaments. The nights one and one called predestination it’s FWC themed
Yeah thats actually a really important thing to remember since the ornaments are completely unobtainable you won't be able to preview any of them, the Warlocks got a Black Hole look for Eye of Another World from Dead Orbit, and Titans got a jewel-encrusted Crest of Alpha Lupi from New Monarchy.
sixth coyote ornament was bugged and wasnt properly coming up for it, but over all i love it so much very unique design for it

Oathhkeepers are super underrated ngl. Not the most flashy exotic, but decreases draw time, makes bows have no downtime on holding lanes, AND give +30 in air accuracy for all bows.
The star eater scales ornament is one of my favourite in the entire game
Good stuff as always, one thing I would say is you should have previewed the ornaments on another class to get the galaxy guy wearing them for clearer viewing

Shards of galanor has/had 2. Came out in the season before witch queen and replaced the blades with bones
Beastly Visage is just a amazing ornament in general honestly.
Best ornament not shown here, because it was from last season and isn't in Archives, is Cathardidae Filament for Celestial Nighthawk. Shades super well, and look badass.

Gemini jesters ornament is important because without the ornament it is stuck as purple … you can’t change it
And with the ornament you are stuck with red, only a small improvement tbh

this is why we need a collections tab section for exotic armor ornaments
Oathkeepers should also increase draw time of all bows on top of the infinite perfect draw they do. Or if they don't wanna do that make them give all bows overload since bows are the best OL weapon anyway lol, though I feel they could do that and the increase draw time.
I just wish there were like universal raid armor decorations that you could apply to any piece. The 1st Orpheus Rig decoration is almost necessary to look "normal" with the other types.

Athrys's Embrace's exotic ornament came out of the 30th anniversary offerings and was not added to the archives unfortunately. also chest piece at 9:06 i have that ornament.

I think the ornamet previews are based on if they are available in the eververse archive.

Both videos the panel had some difficulty separating how good the design and visual of the ornament and actual perceived usability of the exotic.

Another with the missing ornaments, some where on 30th anniversary and I think (or I'm pretty sure) you can no longer get, so it says "I have one!" But it doesn't

So back when faction wars were a thing some exotics got an ornament from that like knucklehead radar was from fwc if I remember correctly.
You have to go back and film the rest of them that aren't in rotation there are some really cool ones like celestial nighthawk shards

i have the orniment for both athry's embrace and sixth coyote and both shade really well
The athrys brace one is soo cool, my favourite looking hunter exotic in the game. But I don't like the effect of the exotic nor do I like solar hunter, so I just never use it :(

I don't think they realized that Charmed Im sure for the liars handshake gives both hands a cobra snake vs only ornamenting one for the most part. That's why it's better than Thalia's. Two snakes > one with longer blade.

My issue is that some of these exotics and ornaments look really nice. But they are so different that nothing pairs with them. Like Star Eaters' Scales for example has a really cool like Aztec temple kind of theme to it. But there is nothing like it to complete the look.

For coyote I'm pretty sure its new to this season? But yea ALL ornaments should be able to be previewed regardless if they're available for purchase. Same thing for weapons. I know for a fact u can't preview vigil of saint 14 on vig wing without the skin if it isn't featured.

frost-ee5 is one of my most use pair of boots for pvp and I really want an ornament for them. mechaneer's tricksleeves I really want one because they look like an uncommon piece of armor.

Oathkeepers are nowhere near useless, if you are running Le Monarque without them, you are either bow swapping or trolling. Perma poison arrows is extremely useful. Got me multiple solo flawless cards.

If u can learn to cancel draw, you don't need oathkeepers.

Monarque will always remain up and ready with poison arrows while running Oathkeepers. And in a game where the TTK is measured in fractions of a second keeping a bow drawn with a poison arrow at all times while people are apeing around the map 🤷♂️ kinda useful.
Also I want an ornament for verity’s brow and something that makes lunafaction look cool
