- Yes, even the Amish need a place to go on vacation. Perhaps that's why some call Pinecraft Florida the Amish Las Vegas. Indeed, it is a place where they can relax a bit. What happens in Pinecraft stays in Pinecraft, so to speak. I met some extremely interesting Amish people here, including one man who was shunned twice and a woman who says she was going to be shunned. I also met an Amish minister, a female Amish entrepreneur and many others willing to share a little bit about their Amish happy place. And I ate an unhealthy amount of Amish baked goods and sweets.

My mom and I enjoy going to Lancaster every year. I also have an Amish penpal. I am actually taking a trip
to Seista Key and and Sarasota. We will visit the pine craft area as well.
I do enjoy your channel, the only constructive criticism I would suggest is, slowing down your questions which would allow people to talk more. You also talk over them or cut them off mid sentence. It maybe that your nervous or excited but I'll leave that with you to ponder.
True! Thank you. I strive to do better. I blame the fact that I grew up with 5 older brothers. As the youngest, you had to shout to be heard at all.
This brought back memories of my own visit to an Amish community in Ohio a few years ago. I was with a small group of international visitors and was lucky enough to enjoy one of the best home-cooked meals I have ever had in the home of a hospitable Amish family. Your video gave me a glimpse into the nuances of Amish life, showing that different communities may interpret and follow Amish rules in their own unique ways. Despite common beliefs about the Amish, I understand that each community may have its own slight different practices. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Mimoza. Will take you there when you move to Florida!
Ja, Da Hah segne dich!
Where, 45 mins from Pinecraft, do you live?
your from buffalo me too
My sister lives in Pinecraft year round and belongs to the Amish church. Sad you didn't mention Katie Troyer's love for photography and her documentation of Pinecraft and award winning photos. She makes yearly calendars sold at gift stores and restaurants. You didn’t need to publish Harvey's private health problems. TMI
Something seems way off, he has 12 children and never mentions them.
