Edgar, does i work properly, i just found no info about the compability of this script with the apc40... i want to use ti apc for the session mode, but I want to use the launchpad 95 as a midi instrument, or the step sequencer as a drum machine.... does it work fine?
It's a blended sample! I made it through resampling by layering a kick from the Maschine library and a sample of the birch bass drum on my Mapex kit :D Let me know if you actually do want it.
I've held off on it so far man. Launchpad95 does almost all the things I wanted with Push... I just wish there were expression options like pitch bend or velocity sensitivity like on Push :(
Launchpad 95 is one of those things that is way too obscure for how fucking amazing it is. As far as actually using the launchpad for live music making goes, it's an improvement in almost every fashion, though if one intends on doing the more popular launchpad covers it's not as usable.
I've done everything to choosing Launchpad95 in midi preferences and Launchpad input & output. I created an empty clip on a drumrack channel and hit USER2 twice. But the launchpad isn't lighting up as a step sequencer!!! Why?! :( I got Live 9.2 Lite!
Someone else recently pointed out that I have this weird habit of doing that when I'm using a Launchpad after seeing the Launchpad Classic vs. S video. And that when I use Maschine it stays tucked in like I'm doing the WCW Four Horsemen sign.
is there a sheet or something that lists/explains what all the buttons trigger in "Scale edition"? If I wanted to go from default to a D minor Phryagian, I would be a bit lost and not know if I was actually playing the right scale. Thanks for creating this.
Yep - on the download page underneath the 'scale edition' section Henri has a picture explaining which button is which. I've just screen-capped and saved it.
I have a mac and did what you said but that script produces nothing, though I did see it in the preferences. I had to switch back to the original lauchpad to get any lights on.

I jus found several videos were the apc sufered glitches wit some other scripts. I really love launchpad95 and i dont want to loose money buying the apc who doesnt conect without problems with the script of the 95. can i use the launchpad95 as an instrument with the apc40 at the same time without a problem?
So for the drum sequencer, what happens if you have more than 7 drums? I mean, most of my drum racks have 16. How do we access the rest of the drums? Also, how do you just play the drums and record them in the sequencer without having to finger them in one by one?
You have to move up one cell at a time. I demonstrate it at 6:34 As for recording yourself playing - what I've done in the past is either record the output of the rack in an audio track or the midi track of the drum rack itself. But that was on the older version I'm using in this video. There have been huge updates within the last year. I'll probably make a video highlighting those updates at some point in the near future.
Sunny Haair at 2.41 when he says the LEDS in green are in musical mode and button one is major scale, button 2 is minor scale and then etc etc with all the other musical scales- is there a manual that lets you know which of the other green LEDS are which scale..... actually- is there a manual that explains all the new features in L95 compared to the standard Launchpad? Edwin Rabadan Is your version of Ableton Live up to date? In the past whenever I've had that issue it's been because I'm either running incompatible versions of Live or L95.
is it possible to trigger an external advice, lika a drumcomputer, with the stepsequencer? if yes, maschine as well as push, would be needless in my setup, from now on.
Manuel Walter Depending on your equipment, I suppose you could maybe configure something by running the MIDI it's spitting into Ableton out of Ableton (via the MIDI out of your interface) and into your external equipment if it allows.

Riccardo Fabbri Only in Ableton Live indeed. But you might be interested in the upcoming Launchpad Pro. It'll have a standalone isomorphic keyboard mode so you can use it with anything. Software or hardware. Exciting!
Nazar Nikolaev They are for me personally. I love drumming on the buttons on the mini more than the ones on the regular sized launchpad to be honest. The only issue though is that since the action of the buttons on the mini is a little different you have to apply pressure in a different way or else it'll retrigger the sound. L95 has been updated quite a bit since I made this video, so I think I might make a new video showing it with the Launchpad Mini after the holidays.

I Use the Launchpad and the APC40 on my setup. This is definitely a nice addition to my live set, especially the StepSequencer.

the midi remote scripts isnt in my program files or appdata where is it? on pc
so i followed all the steps but in the midi synch tab only launchpad is showing up no launchpad95. Any ideas?
