Lucky to be a northern rivers local and call Daleys my fav nursery, so many of my trees have come from them. They have a great success rate, and the few I have had shipped instead of picked up, have survived and thrived.
@@treefarm3288 Hi Treefarm, I suspect I’m preaching to the converted, but your comment just cemented me into a course of action. I’m moving North and establishing a wholesale Nursery, I find plant propagation rather easy, I have capital and horticultural skills and am sick of being cold in winter. I don’t like the idea of the Kyogle area, even there is a bit cold in winter. Obviously, in Australia, water is a large factor. I’m actually thinking of establishing 2 sites, one with “traditional” seasons (so I can grow things like Apples, Pears, or other temperate plants AND have a bit of mid-monsoon/wet season relief AND a Sub-Tropical/Tropical site for my true vocation sub-tropical food plants. Do you have any locations to suggest I look for sites?
I bought 3 pecan trees from Daleys. Had them sent to me in the post. Planted them into mounds, and now I’m just waiting ….. can’t wait for spring to arrive and see the little buds burst into life 💚💚💚
I have 3 dwarf citrus trees from Daley's. They were very easy to deal with and delivered straight to my door. Very interesting to see the whole nursery and the exotic fruits available.
I'll have to visit next time I'm down that way. My favourite is Babaco. The pink panther looks delicious. Our neighbour has 35 acres of the bland white variety. He cloud mists them with Maldison(a nasty pesticide) one week, and sprays the ground with Roundup the next week. I wouldn't eat them, rather grow my own.
I always look forward to your videos, but this place is amazing! Thank you for sharing!! I am in the panhandle of Florida and I may just have found the dragon fruit I need to add to my garden!
Phenomenal work. 😊 I've never heard of using florist tape for grafting. How does it compare to the standard grafting tape or buddy tape? I wish i could visit your awesome nursery.
Hello there guys l have two Asimina triloba the largest native fruit in North America the trees were in shade and never fruited in 31 years l had one fruit but the possums ate it so l re planted them both from the shad to full sun but there was a lot of root damage roots been cut a lot l have roughly got about a foot around l planted it in full sun and l didn’t plant it deep so it won’t get root rot . What do you recon l didn’t prune the top of it the l staked it do you recon both of the trees would they survive you start flowering in spring in September. Another thing l wanted tell you the biggest super food or super fruit now is the king of all the fruits is Durians start concentrating on Durians, especially wild jungle Durians and especially ultra tropical fruits rare things that’s the future for commercial farmers because every one is sick of apples, pears, oranges, bananas the common fruits from Eddie the wild jungle fruit hunter cheers 🎉😊❤
We share our bananas and mangoes with the fruit bats and birds. So much land cleared in QLD, and massive urban development making food scarce for them.

No doubt the best nursery in Australia, exy, but you pay for quality and dedication
Prices are worse in Far North Queensland. Rambutans start at $100, named durians are approaching $200 per tree. Really out of range of many.
