I OC it to 2600 NB and 2133 RAM and 4.2 core with undervolting it to 1.200 It boosted it significant Even if he loaded over 90% it still smooth and my 1070 loaded 97-100% in any games such as assassin series or the last of us(93%) The only game I like and I hate -Arma3 It always loaded 1 core to 100% and almost no load to another But other games 60-90 % with GPU close to 100% FX for 80 usd lasts for me 12 years and still will be in my kid PC Dont hate it only because u dont know how to OC it right The memory speed is the key

Silly question - for boards like that, as in weak VRM and better not to take risk with TUB. Wouldn't it be better to take v4 Xeons overall? Tho I mean WHEN the board supports DDR4 and not DDR3* but about DDR3 - yea, video proven full that going with that memory fort those boards is just very bad thing to do
First, thanks for being the first UA-cam member on the channel! Second, yes, you are right. The DDR4 version with V4 CPUs make much more sense but in this case I didn't have much of a choice. Currently I am working on a mini X99 PC with X99-PR9, so hoping to make some comparisons there.

Кіберпанк High (default) 90 fps, Forza 5 Hi 114 fps (без ReBar, з ним десь 120+), Hogwards HI ~70fps, COD Warzone (ultra+fsr-q) ~95 fps, може на 10% повільніший від 2680в4, але всеодно достатньо для любої гри за такий бюджет. а якшо макс графіку ставити то упреться у відеокарту. Я також мав 2640в4, так от 2650в4 токи більше фпс малює в іграх не дивлячись на нижчу частоту (більше кеш, ядер та память 2400). Навіть Фаркрай Нью Давн бенч 67 фпс середні на ультрах намалював.
In a Budget build you wanna get the most for the buck , since you use AMD cards i recommend to add a run with AFMF ( if DX10/DX11/Vulcan Game ) since AFMF is integrated in the regular Driver . As i see it , there is basically no downside if you use it with a Freesync Monitor aside a added Latency of 20-40 ms . Yes , the FPS will dip in fast movements b u t they wont dip under the FPS in native resolution ( or mabe 5% because AFMF needs a little compute Power ) but in 95-99 % of the Time you get nearly double the FPS and its worth it in my eyes especially with low-mid Tier GPUs which are in the GPU Limit . Some Games are better played without AFMF like competetive 1st Person online Shooter Games but more than 80 % are better played with AFMF , at least if your GPU is unable to produce more than 60-70 FPS and you want 120 FPS for a smoother Gameplay .

My daughter has a TikTok with a couple videos with over a million views. She makes them on a cheap AF ryzen 3 7000 series Lenovo laptop. I want to make her a machine that will make editing her videos easier for her. But that’s all it would be for. We both have our own am5 gaming rigs. I want to build her the cheapest beast of a video editor I can. Where should I even start
Why not use the AM5 rigs for video editing? If your daughter is fine with a laptop, any modern PC will be a major upgrade and enough for her. Something like Core i5-13500, RTX 3060/4060/Ti, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD.

And cut some corners that shouldn’t have been cut for what I actually wanted in the long run. I’ve since literally replaced every single thing on my build save for my motherboard. So all I have to do is buy an am5 mobo for her and she will have a ryzen 5 7600 non X, 32gb Kingston fury CL32 5600, 800w evga gold ge non modular, ek nucleus lux240 aio, rosewill prism s500 and a choice between the Intel arc a750 and the rx7600 as I bought both. If you already have most of the components - go with the planned AM5 build but don't install two GPUs, just go with Arc A750. Test how it works with her editing software and swap with the Radeon if Intel is too bad. When thinking about the environment, keep in mind that all Chinese Noname products are made with violation of all possible environmental norms and working conditions.

Yeah, considering that high end quad channel DDR3 builds can get very close to low-speed DDR5 in raw bandwidth and are actually better in latency, the real reason DDR3 builds aren't as good today is that the CPUs that support it are quite dated. Sure modern RAM has some notable advancements, such as efficiency, but aside from quantity it's still one of the least important things when building a PC.
So I decided to buy the same motherboard and processor since together they cost under 40$. But my problem is that my system won't boot when I enable above 4g decoding and resizable bar. Any idea what could be the problem?
Your RX 580 might be incompatible with Resizable Bar, especially if it's a Chinese one. CSM is enabled by default and must be disabled for Resizable Bar.
@@MiyconstI disabled CSM and finally got it to work but the colors are messed up on bootup like the machinist bootup screen and the bios. It's all fine when I get into windows tho.
Hi, I've got a problem with two different rigs on Xeon but the problem is the same - when I instert 4 ram modules(4 gb each module), there is no signal on the monitor but the PC boots up. When I eject one ram module (the closes to the usb and other jacks on the left), the PC starts normally with 3 ddr modules. Modules are ok, the slots are clean. The problem is the same on two different rigs!! How is that possible?! My rigs are: Alzenit x79 + Xeon 2630 v2, the other rig: Machinist x99 RS9 + Xeon 2630 v3. Has enyone come across such a problem?

Hi is it possible to use Machinist X99 MR9A PRO MAX with I7 Xtreem although it has Q87 chipset not a real X99 which supports overclock for those cpus? My setup has the same cpu E5 2666 V3 10C 20T paired with Machinist MR9A PRO MAX X99 with turbo boost unlock so the 10C are running all the time on 3.59 Ghz. And I am using a 6 pipe air cooler max temp I have seen in hot days was 80 degrees. 32GB DDR4 RAMS.

It should work. Make sure that you install the memory like XXCPU_X or X_CPUXX.

Not sure if you'll respond but my e5 2666v3 is overheating and I'm using a deepcool gammax, what cooler were you using?
DeepCool Gammax is a decent cooler. Check mounting pressure and airflow inside your chassis. Also what is your ambient temperature?
@@Miyconst my mounting is pretty good and no gaps between the cpu and the cooler. My ambient temperature is around 35°c here
I've also experienced the same issue with the xeon E3 1220, 60°c to 70°c on 13% load.
@@Miyconst I think that it's a defective cooler since some of the metal things are bent
35C is a pretty high ambient temperature and you need to ensure very good airflow in the chassis. The cooler might be defective as well.

Yeah, these V4s are also potentially interesting, pretty bad for gaming though.
2683v4 doesnt support ddr3, only 2676v4, 2686v4 and 2696v4 do

Warzone can use multiple CPU cores, so just check what GTX 1070/RTX 2060 is capable of in Warzon and that's gonna be about it.
The CPU ist good for 90-110fps in Warzone with GPUs like the 1080, Vega 56, 6600,..

E5-2666 V3 is a special CPU, it boosts up to 3.2 GHz without TBU.

Yes, it's the same, just DDR3 RAM slots. That CPU cooler is Intel OEM, not sold any longer.

So I decided to buy the same motherboard and processor since together they cost under 40$. But my problem is that my system won't boot when I enable above 4g decoding and resizable bar. Any idea what could be the problem?
What is your GPU? And did you disable CSM?
@@Miyconstmy GPU is an RX580. I didn't touch the CSM so it is the default. Should it be enabled?
Your RX 580 might be incompatible with Resizable Bar, especially if it's a Chinese one. CSM is enabled by default and must be disabled for Resizable Bar.
@@MiyconstI disabled CSM and finally got it to work but the colors are messed up on bootup like the machinist bootup screen and the bios. It's all fine when I get into windows tho.

Hi, I've got a problem with two different rigs on Xeon but the problem is the same - when I instert 4 ram modules(4 gb each module), there is no signal on the monitor but the PC boots up. When I eject one ram module (the closes to the usb and other jacks on the left), the PC starts normally with 3 ddr modules. Modules are ok, the slots are clean. The problem is the same on two different rigs!! How is that possible?! My rigs are: Alzenit x79 + Xeon 2630 v2, the other rig: Machinist x99 RS9 + Xeon 2630 v3. Has enyone come across such a problem?
This is a typical Chinese problem when the memory power delivery system is not good enough for four memory sticks.

But maybe u will try with differnt power source one more try ? Sometimes changing PSU is the solution
@@artur19846 You can do 2 x 8 GB or 3 x 8 GB, since those motherboards have a slot per channel, it doesn't hurt to have three sticks installed.

Hello Miy, what would be your motherboard recommendation under 50$ for someone building their first x99? I guess Mr9A is the best in this price (during sales event) but I may be wrong. I'm seeing all your videos but its easy to get lost with all Machinist, Huananzhi, Jguunye and all other MBs. I'm planning to pair with a 2680v4 mainly for gaming. Thanks!
MR9A is the obvious choice if you can get it for ~$50, for now.
Hi is it possible to use Machinist X99 MR9A PRO MAX with I7 Xtreem although it has Q87 chipset not a real X99 which supports overclock for those cpus?
My setup has the same cpu E5 2666 V3 10C 20T paired with Machinist MR9A PRO MAX X99 with turbo boost unlock so the 10C are running all the time on 3.59 Ghz. And I am using a 6 pipe air cooler max temp I have seen in hot days was 80 degrees.
32GB DDR4 RAMS.
You should also include a modern similar budget cpu for some reference
