This is a plant highlight video on the Little Gem Southern Magnolia. It’s a dwarf magnolia and is a perfect specimen if you can’t fit a traditional magnolia in your landscape. Mine is about 10’ tall and 5’ wide. It’s been my garden for 15 yrs. It’s evergreen, disease and pest resistant and is a great flower for the bees to play in.
-Hardiness 7-10
-blooms mid spring in north texas
-can get 25’ but is a super slow grower
-blooms first year its planted
