I remember when I was in high school Yellowcard was one of the first bands I saw live. It was middle of winter and I was waiting outside the venue for tickets being sold. Turns out they sold out right before I was able to buy a ticket, this dude saw that I was wearing shorts while I was waiting outside, he let me warm up in his van. Well turns out it was Yellowcards van, the dude wasn’t in the band but was on the road with them. He ended up getting me inside for the concert. It was pretty epic. I didn’t get to meet the band, but still, a cool experience nonetheless.
I saw them at the first show I went to. They were opening for AFI, and I think it was not long after this album came out, but could be wrong. It was an amazing show though. Both Yellowcard and AFI drove the energy in that show straight to the roof.

More punk and rock bands need females vocals. There's an almost angelic quality that a feminine voice brings to these songs. Love the original, but this is great too. Good work.
I agree but a lot of people don’t like change and pop punk is a genre it’s fans take very seriously and they might not be on board like really not on board, but on top of that punk is all about rebelling
If you haven't yet, I would recommend checking out Halocene's cover of this same song. It gets the same cool aspect of feminine lyrics on a punky song, but it doesn't have so much echo and autotune, which (to me) detract from the spirit of the song.
