Keep your head up if you're going through something similar; it will get better. Things will be SO much different in 3-5 years.

Its been 6 and things are only looking worse, positivity is hard to hold onto, between gender dysphoria and it being so difficult to make it on my own as an early 20- something, well, staying here is a struggle but between my S.O, my dnd group, and a few choice songs.. well im still here and i wont give up because i was handed a shite hand. Sorry for the rant, i dont really get to vent all that often

The 23rd marks one year since my 17 year old nephews loss to the fight of depression. This song is one of the go to songs to remember everything about the kid. Excellent cover and to anyone that fights depression please know you're not alone no matter how down you get. ♥️
This new year's day will be 10 years since my best friend lost his battle as well. I never know what to say in these situations because I myself never liked being told "sorry for your loss". But I hurt for you and your family having had to go through the loss of someone so young, having gone through it myself. Remember to always share the memories, and know that while we share the pain with loved ones over a soul no longer with us, know that it is a soul set free of a torn mind. Depression is a lot different than most people who have never had it can imagine. As deeply saddening as it may be to consider, I hope it finds you comfort in knowing that his pain has ended. As cliche as it sounds, it does get easier to accept with time.

Your comment touch me. I also fight against depression. But - i found more help in the internet as from the people around me ... (yesterday my brother kick me once again down). Music from real artists and persons as F211 is really helpful ♥ :)
@@berndgerlach3731 I have found that sometimes with depression it can be easier to find comfort from kind strangers than it is to ask for help from those we're afraid to hurt or be judged by. Often part of the disease I suppose. If ever you need to talk, I will listen.

That’s the point. It’s not supposed to BE an everyday pop song. It’s supposed to be emotional because the original was made for a fan named Adam who killed himself. It was specifically created to be sad and touching. Not upbeat and happy

Closet Demon it personally doesn’t sound monotone to me, it Also sounds a lot more happy, light, and jumpy compared to the originally. It isn’t bad the vocals were right and the guitar was right it just doesn’t do the original any justice it sounds like a different song. I don’t think it rlly sounds like depression lol

It's amazing how many people in this comment section lack any sort of creativity or ability to see another angle.
They took a sad song about suicide and transformed it into a song about to the strength to over come your hardships with the more uplifting tones and the burst of light.
