No Longer Perishing in Futility - Tim Conway

  • As Christians, we're called to no longer walk the way we did when we were lost; to no longer walk as this dark world walks. And one of the prominent characteristics of lost humanity is that they have a mind full of vain thoughts. Christian, no longer let your mind be led astray into thoughts of futility like when you were lost.

I watch this sermon at least once a week. Brothers and Sisters, this is such a truth in Ephesians 4. Futility. Futile. Just. Wow. I went to Cancun when I was in the world, with my ex gf back then. We argued every day there. Every single day. 5 star resort. Ocean view room. Parties. Drunkeness. And I felt EMPTY. The world offers NOTHING. Now, I am working on being a better disciple for Christ. I am also preparing for my wife and will find her. A woman that is saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. I am excited. This sermon just gets it so right. Amazing sermon here Brother Tim.

Then this will bless you may you watch this video Below yeah ? May it bless you. "Do you sense that there must be more to the Christian life than you are experiencing? Have you ever felt the terrible frustration of not being able to find victory over your flesh and stubborn sin, in spite of the New Covenant promises for it? Have you ever felt shameful because you aren’t able to carry the love you feel for God during worship, throughout the week? Have you ever had your heart for God ripped out and stomped on by church legalism? Have you ever felt the frustration of trying to reconcile your spiritual life with your secular life? Have you ever been fed up feeling that “church” has become nothing more than entertainment, programs, and yet another random sermon you won’t remember by Tuesday morning?"

Thank you Pastor Tim. It's hard to find the word honestly preached, but you never cease to give the church real meat.

Mr Conway do you believe that noone goes to heaven when they die but we sleep untill the rescrustion and 2nd cuming In christ ? Also you were saying people go to hell isn't that referring to the grave or pit or sheol In the bible ? I'm staring to believe noone gues yo heaven or lake of fire until the last day or 2nd coming if jesus says the dead will rise first then those alive will follow them in the air how do people go straight to heaven when they die who would jesus be talking to if the dead go straight to heaven death is referred to as sleep about 66 times I'm believing that when u die u surely are dead or sleep untill the 2nd coming

Hades/Sheol is a 2 teir place, and this is where all go for now, either Abraham's bosom(Heaven/Paradise) or the Pit place of Torment.
At the end there will be a New World New Heaven New Earth for the Saints who are alive and asleep. there will also be a place called The Lake of fire, that will be the wickeds final destination along with Satan and all other Unclean Spirits.
      Hope this brings some clarity
