Does the soundbok have echo built in for karaoke ? JBL PartyBox have echo built in and can be turned on in the app . Clear winner for karaoke if soundbok doesn’t have this feature

And is easily the loudest best sounding speaker ive ever owned. But there were problems with connecting and if you maxed it out with Bass+ the sound would get fucked up.
@CurtPyro 15 I don't think so it's a good price point wait till it gets a $50+ reduction if it's too high for you I've had the sound boks 2 upgraded to sound boks 3 when it came out & they knocked it out the park with the sb3. The portability the durability the fact that it can run off of battery for hours at full blast on bass mode unlike other speakers that drain than must be plugged in. I just got a boom box 3 from jbl & I'm so spoiled from the sound boks that the bb3 sounds so low to me. Completely worth the money on sound bok going on 3 year still solid strong & no issues.
I can't tell from your video... can you play Bluetooth audio WHILE the microphone is connected and active (mixing)? Or can you only mix two corded inputs? What about two bluetooth devices at the same time (microphone + streaming music)?
Great video. Ignoring volume levels - How do you find the bass response on the Soundboks? - does it reach down to significantly lower frequencies than the JBL PB 100 (in bass mode)?
@@btuff I think EQing only alters the relative loudness of a frequency range, it doesn’t change which low frequencies the speaker can respond to. So for example if you set both to a flat EQ and then ran a frequency sweep, which speaker responds to the lowest notes?
There is nothing wrong with the Soundboks design the design is perfect but to get the quality sound to get a deep bass you need to make it with 2,15 inch speak and a bigger battery and more power We want one box to do the job of two, the design of the box should not be change it just need to be bigger you should not need to buy five box when you can use 2,15 inch bigger speaker in one box As one of Soundboks best customer my opinion should be valued soundboks is going around in circles you have made all the box the same size and then you call that new to be new you have to step out of your comfort zone and be innovative I love the design but I need you Soundboks to go bigger if you say that you're for the out door party's then that defeat the hold object
Having torn down failed SB3's there are glaring corners cut (or oversights) on the power supply design which lead to battery/driver/amplifier failure. Personally I would not own one, especially out of warranty.
Great video!.... You are the only person I have seen review this speaker that included any type of microphone use. And the non squealing is MAJOR! Gotta use the same songs on the tests for fair comparison tho.... Thanks for the video!

Honestly in my opinion there way over priced...now if there were 2 soundboks for $1000 then I can maybe understand that but for the love of Pete not 1 that's ridiculous.
Different needs. Since the pb1000 requires power, for me, I would just bring my full system (with tops and subs) which will sound way better than the pb1000. (I do think the pb1000 is geared towards non professional use - prosumer?) But if I'm on the go and out where I dont have power readily available, the SB3 is the clear winner. The replaceable battery just sets it apart.
The Soundboks 3 is a portable battery bluetooth speaker. I have two 3's and a Go. My three Soundboks or QSC K12's and KW 181's(18 inch subs). Will blow the plastic off any partybox series speakers. 🤣🤣

The bass sounds very deep on the soundboks, but you should have played the same song on both speakers! That would show true comparison.
the soundboks has very very good bass compared to the 100 but theres obviously a $650 difference

It's not lacking at all.. sb4 is unreal and the dynamics are another level to jbl.. no comparison in sound quality imo

I recently bought one and it is well worth the price. Took me 2 paychecks but I don't regret it one bit since I use it almost every day.

Since the soundbox is about $1000 I would say you might as well buy a jbl Partybox 1000 which is way better than the sound box
the pb1000 is more than twice as heavy and not battery powered though
