Hi Joe, that was a great video giving us a on the ground point of view of whats going on in Bayahibe, seems like its growing quickly. I would like to purchase there and am currently looking. I just hope this place doesnt become super crowded like Punta Cana or Santo Domingo, I know we're still aways from that! Thanks again Joe. Be safe
I don’t believe it will ever be super crowded due to its location and being adjacent to a huge national park, but it is growing! Punta Cana has a lot of projects going on now and is steadily growing as well.
Thanks for the comment and for watching! Best wishes!
Hi coconut 🥥 Joe thank you for the great video! I am so excited to see our pre- construction condo. We purchased a unit in Laguna Beach Residences in Dominicus sight unseen…but it looks to be a great area. You said a 3 minute walk to playa Dominicus . We can’t wait … looks like a beautiful beach town. Thank you for sharing your experiences and adventures. Saludo Amigo !
That is awesome! Laguna is extremely close to the beach, right across from the Viva Resort. Great location and they are working on it daily and that is encouraging! Congratulations 🎉 and thanks for your comments!
Best wishes
Hey Coco, thanks for taking us over the Bayahibe area man. You must be very careful when investing in new places there. I've been hosted in many of those new-construction buildings and their finishes are terrible, even though they look amazing in the outside, however, the Estrella Dominicus place you visited later, that's a totally different story, that is class man. They are the DOMIS group, the same developer that is constructing Aqua Esmeralda on the beach. One of the pluses that the area has is that unlike the rest of the country, the utilities are VERY stable there. You must have noticed a power plant right on the main Dominicus road that guaranties electricity to the entire town and all of those hotels on the beach, and speaking of electricity, not even the Casa De Campo road in La Romana has lighting all the way from the Highway-3 to the town as Dominicus has. With all the hotels already there contributing $$ to the state, the growing construction, and the strategic port to Saona Island, it is definitely another Punta Cana in the making.
I've been following you for a while and appreciate your videos. Thanks for posting.
@@joemarti8157 big thanks for your comments and for your support and kind words!! You are dead on with all the cheaply built places that are already up and are currently going up, but you are right again on those DOMIS built projects in the area! Definitely a difference! The electricity has been very very stable so far but I have noticed a few brief outages more recently over the last 12 months and even more with water. Nice chatting with you!
Peace and Blessings!!
Coconut man, you playing with my head.lol Its cold cup north, wish I could be on that beach now. Do you live in Bayahibe?
Man it’s 86 today in Bayahibe! 🙃
@@coconutjo9780 Wow! For the past 3 days it's been cold and windy in New York City. I need to escape. I have never heard of Bayahibe, later this year I want to visit Punta Cana.
@@thepassportlife I understand. I never heard of it until about a week or two before coming to the country.
My concern always is municipal sewage and water supply. Then internal plumbing and quality of concrete/steel. Not everything that glitters is gold. Also there doesn't seem to be a surrounding community unless I'm wrong
The water supply, municipal sewage, and electricity are all in good shape in this area, compared to other cities in the country. There are some surrounding communities but remember this is not North America. 😉
@@coconutjo9780 I understand. I currently live in Puerto Rico and visit DR often. So we have our water and sewage issues here too better in municipal/metro areas. Also being near ocean also presents challenges to sewage when hurricanes change the air pressure. Well your eyes are on the ground. Enjoying and watching your videos!
@@nesq4104 There’s definitely a lot of improvements that need to be fixed in the country but you can say the same about every island or country. Are you in San Juan?
