Love this video. Did you have a tour guide? I would love to hear more about how you decided on where to go. Definitely my bucket list trip. Thanks again for such a beautiful video. ❤
you are so present in the moment when you are filming these charming gardens. I love how you captured the two doves flying, as well as the plants and flowers you chose to feature. Beautiful music selection. I didn't want the video to end!
What gorgeous old gardens - I did hope to go inside the house, but forgot about that in the woderment of the established plants ! Lovely ! Thank you for a great video !
I have just found your channel...what an ispiration. I am from the UK, I am glad you enjoyed your time here. I was brought up on English gardens as my mother took us around them every summer when my siblings and I were children.
What a wonderful way to spend your summers. It was such a gift for us to visit. A trip I would repeat again and again because England just has my heart.
I was lucky enough to be born in the Cotswolds and I spent years exploring the beautiful gardens there. Eventually I became a garden designer. The houses there now cost an absolute fortune as they attract the wealthy and rich celebrities so It’s a shame the community spirit has been lost in some villages.
How amazing to grow up there, and I love that the area inspired your career path. I’m sorry to hear that it has become so expensive to live there now though.
Jasmine, it was a dream come true. Just magnificently beautiful, and boy did we get lucky with the weather while we were there. The hedgerows and cow parsley were aglow!
The beauty in this video made me cry. I’m 1st generation Australian on my maternal side, everyone else is from UK. I love Australia but seeing stone cottages, walled gardens and wild hedgerows makes my heart ache. I’m nearly 60yrs and I’ve never ever been to the UK, must be a dna memory.
My family emigrated from the NE of England to Illinois, USA when I was 15 years old. I did not want to come here! Yet I am still here at age 71 with children and grandchildren now. I miss it so much (and family still there) it is a gorgeous country ❤🇬🇧
@@kristinastoltzfus6032 it’s not the same, they also have queen Anne’s lace growing in the hedgerows. Two different varieties. However, it’s very difficult to find seed of this. There is a variety called Ravens Wing with a dark burgundy stem that you can find from seed in the US. I just got some myself.

I know exactly what you mean, I had a similar experience being there. It was like my soul felt at home.

So beautiful! What are all the tall white flowers along the path? So gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!
Those are all cow parsley, aka Anthriscus Sylvestris. It grows wild all around the UK in May/June. So beautiful!
@@HoneyHillIt says it's the same as Queen Anne's Lace in the US but it doesn't look the same to me. Does it look like the same thing in person?
