This video captures the structure, grace and elegance of Hidcote Manor. Well done! I don’t think there are more beautiful gardens on the planet than English ones.
What the National Trust has done for stately homes as well as gardens, here in the UK, is unparalleled. I am enormously grateful for them. I spent my childhood visiting gardens and stately homes with my mother. She took us to places like this, where we would have picnics and tea, over theme parks, etc. it was much more calm and enriching in comparison.
Thank you so much ☺️ I had to constantly keep one eye on them while filming so I could keep them close, they were swept away many a moment, and wanted to frolic through the beauty.
oh Samantha! How beautiful! thank you so much for taking the time and effort to bring us along. What a magical place for you and your daughters to explore. I hope they remember it fondly forever!
Wow, that was stunning. The gardens are very fairytale-like. I really enjoyed how your video allowed us to enter the garden and get a wide view, followed by close-ups of some of your favorite focal points and features. The way you shot the video really allowed me to experience an actual tour. I was instantly transported to England and enjoyed watching your beautiful daughters run around like little fairies in their magical playground. The architecture is incredible and I am so glad that we got a glimpse of it. This was so inspiring and just the perfect way to start my Saturday morning before I go outside to work on my own garden. Big thanks from Florida!
It was so lovely to be transported back to Hidcote gardens as I’ve spent many happy hours and years walking around there. It inspired me to become a garden designer. Hidcote is famous for its ‘hot’ colourful border but that comes later in the year. They’ve redesigned some of the garden ‘rooms’ to how they were originally I believe and I don’t remember all the beautiful irises (reminds me of Cedric Morris’s paintings) but it has evolved over time as gardens should.
Stunning garden. I could see my bucket list being filled up with visiting English gardens. I watched the gardens over the seasons with Carol Klein, just gorgeous. And what a bundle of joyful energy was Eve.
I used to regularly get taken here on the weekends as a kid as-well as some of the other national trust houses in the area in the height of summer and spring, not sure I appreciated their true beauty as much as I liked running around on the big greens, but now I have a good dose of nostalgia for them! There also used to be a pick your own strawberry field at the back of Hidcote
Thank you for this lovely experience. It's a magical garden, and your meanderings presented it in a different, more unusual and interesting light. Your two girls were a charming grace note that added to the experience.
I’m really enjoying this video so much! The music is lovely, your charming daughters are the prettiest flowers in that beautiful garden! If I were an artist I would paint the part where your girls are looking at the fountain 🌸🌺🥰🦋☀️👒🐝🌷
Such a well-done video. It really seems to capture the serenity and peacefulness of the garden. So inspiring for a DIY Gardener like myself. Seeing the Joy on your daughter's faces as they experience this beautiful place, priceless.😊
Really enjoyed your videos of your trip to our Blighty. It's such a shame your visit was in the period of almost coolest weather on record for that time of year. With that unusual easterly wind and cloud. Now basically it's been wall to wall sunshine since then and a lot hotter for end of may and for this time in June much higher than the average temperatures for that period. In fact here in this part of Sussex England where l reside we have had no rain since the day of the Coronation. Which is already causing abundant use of the watering can. I do hope you took back so many precious and happy memories for you and your family. Please visit us again as there are so many great gardens to see here in our little green septered isle
Thank you so much! We had a bit of grey weather one day and a sprinkling of rain that morning, but overall we lucked out with great weather and lots of sunshine with temperatures between 18-21 Celsius. Back home it had gotten quite hot already, up to 32 Celsius so the cooler weather was wonderful especially for all the walking we did. I hope to return some day soon, I know we just scratched the surface of all there is to see.
Thank you so much for sharing this video! The gorgeous garden was made more special by seeing your girls being guides with their maps! They remind me of my daughter so many years ago! The music was also a perfect fit for a day in a garden! All the best to you and your family from Massachusetts!
Did your heart stop lol. Did you notice how tall the Geraniums are! Been watching English garden tours and that’s what I can’t get over of how tall they are! Have fun!!

What wonderful memories! Upick strawberries were a mainstay of my childhood summers in the Pacific Northwest of the US.

Very nice, awesome scenery
Beautiful and inspiring. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! 🌿🌻
This is magical! Reminds me of Alice in Wonderland🌿🌸
So much of the scenery on this trip felt like a storybook. 🌿✨
Did your heart stop lol. Did you notice how tall the Geraniums are! Been watching English garden tours and that’s what I can’t get over of how tall they are! Have fun!!
So many beautiful varieties of hardy geranium in the English gardens we visited, and yes so big and healthy!
I notice the height too, the foxglove over there look 10’ tall, love that.
Absolutely gorgeous although I live in the UK I have never visited 😊 We will now 🍃🌸🍃
Wonderful, thank you! 🌳
If you try to reproduce the cow parsley meadow be prepared for people to freak out about hogweed and hemlock. I might try it just for
Have you discovered the secret waterfall near by Hidcote
I have not! That sounds amazing!
When is it opened
