Unusual quality of this recording somewhat mystifies me. I am guessing a remote truck was outside the building with rolling reel to reels. State of the art for live recording circa 1976. There is obviously some after-doctoring and touch ups in a studio, probably during a later road trip, in some USA studio. I am open to anyone else having input about this! --Donny
Still great though! Saw Sha Na Na in Madison Square Garden for 1-to-1 concert and also in Central Park - both were unbelievable and made a Sha Na Na fan for life.

I was stationed in Japan early ‘75 and was in the audience. Thank you for the joy and now good memories. Did the power go out on it’s own or was it part of the show.
