I absolutely love palm trees and tropical plants. One day, my husband and I plan on buying a property close to the ocean near Clearwater and living there part time and renting it out in the spring/summer
They're beautiful 🌸 You did great for new gardener 🙃 Look similar to rhododendron leaves. I'm up in New Jersey. Now I want to try growing one of these ( dwarf variety) in a pot. Going to search around and see what I can find. Loving those pups as well💜
@andreapoole4778 yes, Utah is so beautiful, I couldn't live without my mountains(seriously I was so lost in Florida, not knowing what direction I was ha) but I could definitely live part time in Florida no doubt
@@angelaclausing5565 I'm in Ohio and grow plumeria here! I literally just uploaded my 2 yr update on my channel. Totally try out the miniature ones!!!!
Wowww those are beautiful flowers, I’m sooo jealous in Moncton NB we don’t have those. My parents go to Florida every year from December till May. They have a house in largo Clearwater. He’s not a Gardner either but he’s done a really nice job. I love your yard. It’s so peaceful.
@@melissacormier8901 oh wow my husband’s mom used to live up in Largo! Yes, it’s definitely fun to be back down here where I can grow all of my favorite tropical plants again! I’ve never had plumerias before, so it’s fun to get to have these now!♥️♥️
Omg yours are lovely!!! I grow them too but in pots because l am in zone 6 Ohio! Propagation is easy peasy!! You can do it. You can sell the cuttings... 7-12 inch cuttings UNROOTED.... they sell very well!
@@Misslou2425 thank you! Yes I couldn’t believe it but they all sold very quickly and I had to turn people away because I ran out! I had 17 altogether. I may do it again in Spring! ♥️♥️
I have a Plumeria my mom snuck back from HI and a price broke off last year and I just stuck it in some dirt in a pot and I forgot about it for 3 months. I went to take my plants outside for spring and summer and this stick had leaves and had grown about 2 inches. I now have 2 beautiful Plumerias one is about 2 feet and the other is around 6 foot. I live in Oklahoma and have to bring them in during winter. I am planning on trying some more. I am going to do some in just dirt like the 1st one I did and some in planting mix. Good luck!
@@mimi-yt7gq yes I have a coworker that was saying she just sticks hers directly in the ground, but because I intended to sell them, I wanted to do my best to make sure that they had every chance of doing well. The Take Root powder is only a couple dollars and was quick and easy to do. That must be hard to bring in the six footer inside during the winter!😊♥️
that's awesome. Great job. I've been trying to propagate my lilac and hydrangeas, but it's been hard they keep burning and dying I can't seem to find a good sunny/shady spot. Great video very informative. Maybe next time I'll use the perlite as well. ☺️🤞
@@juliedemasi4700 oh that’s cool that you’ve tried it too! I know, it’s so hard when you think you found a good spot that provides both sun and shade and then we change positions as seasons change. I’m glad you liked this! Have you started your bathroom yet?♥️
I would love a plant!! Those are gorgeous and I love how they smell!! I live in Florida but it's Northeast I'm not sure if they grow here but I would love to try!!
@@hammettgirl yes ask around or go to a garden center and ask them if they do well in your area! I never knew they were so fragrant either! My coworker told me how great they smell so I smelled them and she was right! ♥️♥️
@@soniab78 I sold all of them but one and a lady said she was coming this week but if not, I’d like to keep it! That way I can see how they do from cuttings myself!♥️♥️

Never related to gardening more lol. I don’t have a green thumb either but I try 😂♥️.
