I have noticed between scenes with Jamie Kennedy as The Mask, one scene he was speaking with his natural voice and the other, he was speaking with an Elvis Voice which you can tell was all Dubbed Over with, terribly.
Apparently test audiences didn’t like Kennedy’s Mask voice which is why he uses the Elvis voice. I can kinda see why, he still has a high pitched dweeb voice
I think it was still Jamie’s voice dubbed over cause he did a similar voice in The can’t keep my eyes off you song in this movie, but I don’t know why they dubbed him.
There's a similar joke done in the first episode of The Mask: Animated Series, in which our titular green faced lunatic said, "Ssssmokin!! Is hazardous to your health." 😆
I’ve always wondered what Kennedy’s take on The Mask character originally sounded like, since all of his lines in the released version were obviously dubbed in post, with that Phil Hartman-esque voice.
I remember seeing son of the mask a lone time ago even though I get scared seeing jamie kennedy putting the mask on lol. it was an ok movie also jamie did well playing that role and perhaps I always like jim carrey's classic version of the mask 1994
You know this movie would have been better if Tim was Stanley's son who would be a kid instead of an adult, finds the Mask, becomes the new wearer and uses the powers for fun and a little revenge on bullies.
Jamie Kennedy didn’t even say smokin once throughout the movie, not to mention who did he base his mask voice on? Robin Williams? Elvis? Olmec from Legends of the hidden temple?
The design isn't that bad it's just why give him hair? The mask has always been bald and they needed to teach him how to talk with those teeth so he could do the voice there and now not adr his weird deep voice in
It would have been cool if Jim carrey came back for number two but maybe he thought that the script was not that funny compared to the first one he did but I still have to say that he is the all time best movie stars ever in movie history man he is a living legend in Hollywood and he has a long way to go
I wonder why they had cut that part out of part two man they should have kept it in the movie but I think why is because the director was not impressed with the way he had shot it he might have felt that it was a little bit silly but it still always makes me laugh
I think Kennedy was trying a too hard. No one can pull off the smoking line like Jim Carrey.
Ikr
I would honestly disagree. I think Kennedy did a good job doing his own version and not to copy Jim Carrey
@@doctorwardrobe2383 I mean yes he did a great job doing that

I think that was One of the worst ideas that sent this movie to it's grave.

I wish they didn’t adr Kennedy with that Elvis Presley voice. They should have kept his natural voice
You can also tell it was terribly dubbed over.

Totally wish that they kept this scene in here
Pass
Uh if they do no one would watch because how bad the movie
@@jacobmyers8393 why? it provides a good message at least
Everyone says the hair is bad. The earsvare what made me question it.

One of my main concerns about this movie is why didn't Tim wear the Mask more like he knew that it was magic and it gave him powers.
if you watch the movie you see that otis steals it and tim doesnt have it again until the very end
@@dlandradjones6831that wasn't until like over a year later.
because his dog took it and he couldn't find it
@@agenttheater5 To me that felt kinda stupid that Otis hide it from him and then over a year later he gets it back.
@@davenierop1540 perhaps, but then again Tim didn't think of looking for it earlier - sometimes people do do stupid things in movies and in real life

Forget about the Conan o’brien ken doll hair, i’m still wondering why they gave him ears 😂
@@AlfredRayAnimations HE HAS EARS!!!!????
@@JoyfulJester6371 yeah he does in here, in the original he did not, and also in the original, even if the character had hair, it was real hair

No, it was filmed in 2003 and released in 2005.

This movie also can cause cancer...brain cancer
Jamie Kennedy is great playing the Mask in this movie
I Love this film, is not a bad movie, is a good movie, i don't understand why the peoples hate this movie
NO ID NO PARTY!
Smoking after the transformation of the mask and quote.
This is a second movie from first movie the mask she…. forgot her name throw the mask off the bridge! And then this movie the mask came from lake! 😧
Why was this removed? Was big tobacco behind the removal?
Só faltou ele dizer "Alguém Me Segure" (Somebody Stop Me)

They forgot the original movie was for adults, not children 🤦♂️
Can somebody please tell me what kind of car Tim is driving lol
plymouth roadrunner
This scene would’ve been funnier actually…
Same door man in the mask
Wow. They even butchered that iconic line and made it all PSA on it. It's so bad. 😅
To be fair Jim Carry's Mask also did it in the animated series.
I don't give a fuck about the IMDb score for this I absolutely loved this movie. It's not as good as Jim Carrey's but Jamie did a wonderful job.
Jamie gosto desse maskara
"SMOKIN causes cancer"
Were they ripping off on purpose?
Gosto do maskara e seus poderes
