A point you made about the defence getting back into a narrow 4 (Reminiscent of an Italian side) well that stand to reason and it's a deliberate ploy that Eddie Howe has learnt from the Italians. Why do i say this? Well a little bit of information for you, in the two years from leaving AFC Bournemouth and Joining Newcastle UTD Eddie Howe just didn't sit on his Laurels, he actually went over to Italy for defensive tactics and then Spain (Atletico Madrid in particular) to ask Diego Simeone to Mentor him on Defensive tactics and how to set up a defence, hence as of now Newcastle's defensive ability and having the best defence in the PREM for now. Eddie Howe is a learner and always wanting to learn no matter what.
You are supposed to be a match analyst on TV..Your analysis and realistic way of explaining make you the best to me.. goodluck brother from Saudi Arabia
Nobody's making a fuss in the media about Miggy living in a £6M mansion! That's because he's getting more gametime that JG & only cost a fraction of that ridiculous transfer amount paid for Grealish. A lot of good the £100M has done Aston Villa.....
Think the role Joelinton plays has been overlooked. He is obviously excellent at breaking up opponents plays but he is also very strong in his resistance to the press which allows the likes of bruno, trippier, almiron etc to get into positions were they can make the killer pass.
People that don’t support us don’t really know how hard working eddie Howe they just say the money spent in the summer man utd and Chelsea spent more and us even Nottingham plus West Ham and we higher than all of them as a Newcastle fan eddie is the one
Newcastle is playing some great football right now and i wish Liverpool could take a leaf out of the page. Miguel Almiron is the player to watch so skillful and tricky. a matter a fact the whole squad is performing🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
I agree, obviously biased as a geordie. However my opinion, the reason why almiron is playing so well is because off tripps. He trusts almiron, is not scared to pass him the ball as he rarely looses it and their link up play on the right sometimes is a pleasure to watch. Exciting time. Stay safe 👍
I'm going to lob this one into the discussion.....Graeme Jones! Was there with England's Euro Campaign & we were pipped by 2 penalties. Now he's there supporting Eddie and as if by magic, we go from 20th to 4th in a calendar year. The like of ASM, Joelinton, Schar, Willock, Murphy & Wilson are different players than under Bruceless. Let's also remember that we have been clobbered with the loss of £60M's worth of striker until January. Could be a VERY interesting package when Isak returns!!
I know this sounds odd, but I'm a Toon fan, but have absolutely no resentment to City or Pep. If we stop the scumbags like Spurs, Chelsea & Manchester United from a higher position, then that'd be me happy.
With the likes of Liverpool having a slow start, Chelsea & Man Utd going through transition and Spurs currently hit & miss, there’s a chance Newcastle could get top four..? It’ll likely not happen this season though, but just going off their form during this calendar year, Newcastle have shown they can maintain their winning run.
We don't play 4-3-3, it may look like that at the start of the game, but we actually play 4-5-1 out of possession and 3-4-3 / 3-3-4 in possession. Trippier moves up as a 'spare player', with Burn, Botman & Schar in the back 3. Man City actually play this from time to time, with Cancelo as the 'spare player'.
It's one of the greatest examples of player and team management by Eddie Howe to recognize that Trippier is starting to show his age and not a quick as he used to be, and thus do not play him as a traditional overlapping RWB. Instead, like Pep did with Lam at Bayern, Trippier goes into a RM role supporting Almirón and whoever is playing 8 in their press. Newcastle possession is deliberately lobsided on the right with players that have really good passing and possession ability to allow lots of free space on the left for the left winger, typically ASM although he's been out most of the season thus far, to exploit. A similar tactic is used by Hjulmand in the Denmark national team by deliberately overloading the right with high press intensity players allowing room for the LWB Mæhle to roam in. All in all what makes Howe such a good manager is that he's really good at adapting the team tactics to fit the strengths of the players on the pitch instead of having players fit into a role dictacted by the team tactics.
thus last year has been surreal, to go from constant lows to competing on merit with the big boys is a pinch yourself you're dreaming moment. 15 games in its starting to feel more than just luck, even during a frustrating aug/Sept when we just couldn't get goals to win games against Palace, Bournemouth and Wolves, in all those games we were dominant and it was just building up to the crucendo that came against Fulham on 1 October
Certainly the Anfield game was massive bad luck, but perhaps (like the Cup exit to Cambridge) it's been the Bitter Pill that has inspired this team to say "F*** it, we ARE better than this!" Seems to have worked.
Great video and analysis, either way Eddie Howe is an absolute genius, he has every attribute going to be an elite manager, his man management skills to his tactics, fitness levels in the team, this team reminds me of the late sir Bobby Robson’s team. Joy to watch again and this form has carried since January. If it continues and we are lucky without injuries and a good January window, top four is within a shout and let’s be honest, no one would have thought this when bruce left.. amazing!
Don't get me wrong, I think Sir Bobby Robson was a fantastic manager who was loved by all of the fans. Sadly some footballers didn't give him the respect he deserved. Eddie seems to be loved and respected by all.
NUFC will only stay in the top 4 IF they can keep a fit squad and keep this current form up, and with the way Eddie Howe is managing them it is very likely.
People talk about the money (Granted you never) but we have spent it wisely. When the City take over got completed they wasted money on the likes of Robinho. But we've bought players that play the Howe way. Also he has rejuvenated the likes of Almiron, Wilson, Joelinton & Longstaff. Wonder if we'll spend a little or a lot in January if we are still 4th.
🤣🤣What a load of tosh. I would presume that any player good enough for the premier league is a good player. It's what the manager does with them that defines their season?

Yes I agree Eddie has done his homework be has taken Newcastle from relegation to top four in less than a year. He must be a great tachtition
You are supposed to be a match analyst on TV..Your analysis and realistic way of explaining make you the best to me.. goodluck brother from Saudi Arabia
Agreed, analysis and presentation was 10/10
Good luck brother? Freaking sellout hypocrite munafiq
Almiron > Grealish
No question.
Not really saying much TBF.

It’s feels so strange people doing positive videos about us the lads deserve it I’d like to see Callum Wilson at WC
People that don’t support us don’t really know how hard working eddie Howe they just say the money spent in the summer man utd and Chelsea spent more and us even Nottingham plus West Ham and we higher than all of them as a Newcastle fan eddie is the one
I'm not sure why this is the first I'm seeing your channel but amazingly in depth analyses and some of the best I've seen. Great job

Down to Eddie not Graeme Jones...
i want Newcastle to win PL more than man city once again

@@andrewphippsphillips1455 what about Arsenal?
Newcastle will challenge for top 6 place if they keep up this good form.
Excellent comments 👍

Eddie's intense mags 🖤🤍
Your football analysis is surreal
We did a vid on Newcastle. But almiron is the man. Grealish eating his words
NUFC will only stay in the top 4 IF they can keep a fit squad and keep this current form up, and with the way Eddie Howe is managing them it is very likely.
migoal goalmiron
Maxi still yet link up with this current Newcastle
And Isak really. Hopefully have a full strength squad after World Cup

Expert analysis - just hope the other sides aren't watching and taking notes :)
Bobby would be proud.
Miggy is the paraguayan ángel di María. They are the same player.
only this guy knows how to track back and defend
1 game a week with Eddie in charge anything is possible.....
But howe has he done this?
Are you Timo Werner?
Me pueden explicar en español?
Almiron is better than Grealish
At some point in the near future, footballers will not only need to be multi-lingual but they’ll need a PhD in trying to understand the tactics.
You buy good players you go up the league, you buy poor players, you go down the league.
🤣🤣What a load of tosh. I would presume that any player good enough for the premier league is a good player. It's what the manager does with them that defines their season?
The title should have read, "How Saudi Arabia transformed Newcastle FC with blood money".
