Symbiote spider-man works REALLY well with nimrod. You can merge into a destroy enabler to make more nimrods, merge into an actual nimrod to make it 12 power, or merge into a shuri to make the nimrod 24 power - using Magik to give yourself an extra turn to destroy the 24-power Nimrod.
Surprisingly Shang chi is less played than Alioth rn in infinite ladder lol that nuts. I believe Shang chi is played 22 percent of the time which the lowest I think he’s ever been at

As a move enjoyer, he fits in nicely. Human torch on the left lane, symbiote Spider-Man on top, ghost spider or cloak on the far right. He turns to 16 & the heimdall & he turns 32 on the middle lane. I steal a lot of cubes playing move & got almost all gold in my deck

I played a match where the opponent didn't play any cards the first three turns, and then played Symbiote Spider-Man turn four and Black Panther turn five. I promptly retreated, because I just knew they had Arnim Zola. ;) I wouldn't be surprised if Cosmo and Armor started making their way into counter decks, depending on which, if any, Symbiote Spider-Man decks rise to the top of the meta.

Symbiote HAS to be telegraphed. It's potential is far too ridiculously powerful. Hard counters and easy retreats must exist for this card to not to ruin the game. It's also super fun to play!

Given how powerful it is with being able to play an on-reveal card next to SSM and then subsequently activating SSM to essentially re-reveal that card for free in the same turn, do you potentially see them updating the Activate mechanic to be like Move where the Move itself occurs before cards get revealed?

Your doing it the wrong way you want to play symbiote first and then turn by turn 6 judge if it's worth going for then play galactus then activate. Especially if you can get priority.
Classic : Electro -> Hobgoblin -> Galactus Symbiote variante : Electro -> Symbiote Spiderman -> Galactus on Spidey location + Activate Tips : Recommand to play Wolverine in turn 2 if you can, so he could come back after the Galactus effect 👍

I tried playing the symbiote spider man. And then play Galactus as well as activate Spider-Man’s effect and nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong. Or do I have to wait an additional turn after playing Galactus to have the cards merge ?
@AlexanderCoccia do you think SSM refreshes an ability that has been stolen by rogue or cancelled by enchantress? It just might because his text uses the ability like it just revealed. What if it rewinds time for cancelled abilities. Also he can be used to clear space if you are clogged.
symbiote is the only card that can triple the impact of your opponent’s green goblin. namor, namora, and orka can make green goblin a net 8 power, but symbiote makes it 9. also we’re not gonna talk about galactus

Couldn't you have just play symbiote spiderman mid, activate him so he merges with the copies of himself, and then still have activated him at the end. That way you would have used him and still have done the doom play.
The symbiote spiderman activating the hobgoblin over the black panther was guaranteed because he activates at the lowest cost. Not a 50/50 but moment was epic!
Is it just me or does activate need an activation indicator for the opponent’s side of the board? Obviously, I don’t want to see the activation before my opponent commits to it. But it would be nice if at the start of the next turn, during card reveals, the “activate” animation plays for both sides. It’s a minor gripe, but still one that I believe would make the game more immersive. I mean… imagine a world where ONLY the person playing carnage got to see carnage’s beautiful card eating animation!
I think he sucks. That ability is one buff away from being broken aka you can activate it ASAP or whenever you want. Squirrels/clogs and at minimum turn 5 for most part to activate is way to much. Galactus is fun but literally I pulled it off once in the 2 hours with all the RNG
Honestly I've said for the past month that he'll be overrated. And I feel like he kinda is but also he isn't. I feel he's a very difficult card to judge right now

Why did the Wolverine, Nimrod didn't get the +1 power when nova got destroyed?
The best deck in that Symbiote On Reveal style is Eva's Symbiote Galactus. So many cool lines.
Destroy. I used it in destroy and man, was it strong. Put it out then have it attach to wolverine or deadpool and then watch the numbers climb

It was effective day 1, people expect it now so you are better off dropping a dr doom or some other go wide strategy turn 6.

I was watching kx4n and he cooked up a Thena shell with Sable, SSS, Cosmo, and Jugg and it was wild. Activate is a crazy new shakeup.
