We had a costume room at my HS and good lord did those poor dresses get abused- I wanted to cry when the football team did a sketch in the ball gowns and made sure to do too small of sizes and ripped the seams

I must say, over the last few years I became somewhat immune to tingles-even the most well-known asmrtists’ works couldn’t help me forget my worries and just, you know, relax. But your contents are amazing, jaw-droppingly so! Not only is your voice soothing and the acting brilliant, but your words are so reassuring and gentle even in the ‘creepy’ scenarios(which are SO GOOD by the way, I actually try really hard not to fall asleep during your story-oriented videos because I simply must find out what happens next!) and they always sound so genuine. I really find comfort in the lines you speak and the clever way you weave your original storyline with themes such as taking care of someone who has been hurt/harmed themselves to form an incredibly calming, super-creative ASMR. I always look forward to hearing the “ping!” of youtube notification from your channel. I especially loved the “Taming You ASMR” and the mechanic video, so this one is like a wonderful gift for me! Something I really love about Jim's videos is the lighting. Asmr videos are most often used for sleep (at least in my case). This soft light and hazyness is so comforting, that along with the sounds, really lulls me to sleep.

I love the mech videos too. I have a thing for robot repair videos because if I can pretend I'm not human and thusly don't have emotions that will mess everything up, if that respite is even for a short while, it's wonderful.

@@SC-qy5fe Bronchitis is also known as a "chest cold". It's worse than a cold but not quite as bad as pneumonia. Due to what happened to me though, when I was admitted they thought it was pneumonia. It can get pretty bad.

ambh9116 I’m on my third time through now. I don’t usually get a lot of tingles the first time round because he distracts me with his acting, scripts, background and let’s be honest gorgeous face ( his chin cleft is my fav). I have to watch it over to pick up what I missed the first time. Then after I’ve got my hormones under control I can enjoy the tingles. The kiss at the end was delightful.😊 I also get the impression ‘we’ are a sexy lady bot. That laugh/no sharing comment was pretty wicked.😏
Fiona Morris I couldn’t agree more. The first play through, I couldn’t silence my giggles from all of the innuendos. Haha!! By the third play through, I was completely immersed in the scene Jim created. It’s a testament to his dedication and talent that we gain so much from each separate viewing.

I've always thought I am a machine with some system bug. But it appears I've never been treated in a proper way. It's quite the time for AI takeover. Are you game, Joe? You're the only human to trust, I swear. (I'm discovering metal and drill sounds as triggers. And though I can hardly stand them IRL, in your Mechanic series they are really great and tingly. Wonderful experience, Jim, thank you!).
Loved the repetitive metal sounds, squeaky polishing, and mechanical clicking! I appreciate when you take a bit of time with each sound rather than rushing through, more time = more tingles! Amazing work, as always.

Thanks for the top off, they had me running on an almost criminally low fuel level and I could already feel my systems overheating and my circuits frying.
Doesn’t seem like they’re gonna stop treating me like a piece of scrap metal soon so I hope I’m not in a state of total disrepair next time we see each other, or you’ll have to get really angry...
30 minutes of such creative and deliberately-chosen and staged sounds, all in one take! I spent my whole watch eagerly awaiting what you'd come up with next. That springy sound!! Is that a metal single-hole punch or similar tool! I remember once clicking one of those with nothing in it just to get that lovely sound, love it here! Enjoyed the consistent speed of the drill and those drill-bit-in-padding sounds, ooof, and the expanding sonic field of the top-of-the-head drilling at 14:42 then the motor slowing down at 15:27, so great. The gentle hammer on metal sounds were a nice touch, and the cloth polishing was lovely, plus the drying of the glass was so satisfying! The cling filmy/tape noise at 24:43 was gratifying, just like in an unboxing. :) I found the "heat welder light" relaxing, but most calming was the strangely simple lowering of the cloth at 27:00. Love the word "chassis" when you say it. That personalized "Joe" tape on the mask LOL, definitely wanted to see more of your eyes under the mask shadow tho! "If I could afford a machine like you...." ok errbody sign up for Jim's Patreon! :D Would love to see some "behind the scenes" footage of how your setup and all these sounds looked like. I spy some deliberate color grading/correction here, makes your eyes look blue-violet at times! Such great fan (subscriber?) service here, but with a creative touch. Loved how Joe looks left and right before that cute little peck kiss, awwww. Alright, enough random observations for one comment (I just think you deserve detail!). LOVE!
The irony is that my whole drag persona is based off of a fembot cyborg, so this is like ULTRA personal for me and it’s just so damn good.
