Very nice walk through Marple... I would to visit the towns along the canal!.. Im pretty sure if I ever manage a visit ill postpone my return date and find a small flat to let....in some small out of the way town.near a canal so I can go walking and my friends over for tea or a cold brew when they float by....😃 wouldn't that be lovely!!!!!??😍😃

I liked the tour of Marple. The Regent Cinema is definitely a classic. I wonder what the inside looks like. I really missed the inside look of the pub you mentioned. Thanks again for the video, Trev.😀
I did actually try the door on the cinema but the door was locked. I was meeting another boater for a beer later that day at Marple Social club. Which I have made a video about.
Beautiful little town with all the amenities one could want. My sister in Weymouth told me that the 'Top Gun Maverick ' movie is really good. Should treat yourself Trev. Seems pedestrianizing is becoming very popular in the smaller towns then? Nice to go shopping and not worry about speeding motorists. :)
I will not be going to the cinema as I actually do not like non fiction movies, TV or anything especially modern ones that rely upon CGI. It is a nice little stroll down to the main part of the town from the boat.

Not that I know of. That was once a road, that was pedestrianised in the early 80's I was told.
