This is an incredible song- in 1982, Santana was playing in the Sahara Tahoe showroom (High Sierra Room) for three nights. The first night was a Friday, and that day, I was right there outside the entrance to the showroom, at the box office inside the hotel, and I hear the bass line that's played here numerous times, and just that. The bassist was practicing without any accompaniment. I couldn't help myself, after I had the tickets in hand, I walked up the carpeted steps and through the two levels of doors to see in person this incredible music by the bassist. Couldn't believe it, especially knowing that I would be hearing these bass lines in the masterpiece of music, when I was to go the last night on Sunday. The quaint venue (1000k) was laid out like the classic showroom in a hotel casino- rows of tables with chairs on each side, from right there at the edge the stage, extending out from the stage in straight lines, to the first main walking aisle. From there, you had these monster size booths that could old up to six people, facing the stage- these were called the "King's Row", for it was where the best seats were. (which is where we sat) Waiter/Waitresses bringing whatever libations we desired throughout the show, all while Carlos and company blew off the roof for two hours, with such bangers as this monster piece.
Santana is a good "rabbit hole" to visit, many great songs.
Hope you're feeling Better

Are some of my favorites
Santana was a band by committee. Over his career, he's had some 100 musicians play with him. He certainly had that Latin and soul influence, but he also liked to rock out, case in point. Inner Secrets is a great album. Santana, always epic.
DUDE!!! You are maybe this FIRST 2 or 3 Reactors to EVER Do this Song!!!! It's one of My ALL-Time Faves from Santana!!! TRUE Fans will, Hopefully, Blow-Up your Numbers for this Video!!!! The Other, Mega-Hit from this Album is called "Well All Right"!!! It Starts Out with a Saucy, Latin Groove, that Leads to a Rockin' Climax, like This one did!!!
(See my Previous Comment, Below, for Info and Links!!! I LOVE your Channel & Your Personality!)
~ Keep Rockin'!!
~~ "Daytona Snooper"
I wore that cassette tape out. You should hear him do "She's Not There" from the Moonflower album. One of his best.
Just want to thank you for doing your reactions without interrupting the songs, this makes it so much more enjoyable. I can't listen to most reactors because of the constant interruptions... Keep it up and I'll keep watching!
Having seen Carlos live four times over four decades I can say his shows are a party like few others. Everybody is on their feet flowing with the music and happy to be there.
Santana "All I Ever Wanted" should be next on your Santana playlist.
They'd use that song here in San Diego for a local Speed Shop ( Cars ) on the radio back in the 80's and 90's 😎

You're in San Diego? You're so lucky. I miss that place so much. Mission beach was my hangout.
Saw the concert promoting this "Inner Secrets" album in 1978 at Madison Square Garden in NYC. Awesome show with a new act by the name of Eddie Money opening. The whole album is great but especially "Dealer/Spanish Rose" and the cover of the Classic IV's "Stormy."
Taboo from Santana 3. You'll Love It!
the AMAZING Carlos Santana ! The man is musical genius !
Could be Santana's hardest rocker. Good stuff.
Inner Secrets is an fabulous album he does a cover of the great Buddy Holley's Well Alright and really rocks it up......worth a listen
Now you gotta check out
I hope your feeling better ❤❤❤❤
Everyone knows the Latino music but the rock side are hidden gems.❤
I have this album (vinyl) and have played the crap out of this song!
This is one I haven't heard before. Seems very un-Santana-like, but interesting. Thanks for bringing some new music, well, at least new to me!
Please add my favorite Santana song, "Winning" for a future Santana reaction (link below)! Thanks for another great reaction and choice JM! ✌💙✌
