Yeah but this is the basic 16-star run. Once you get into LBLJ's and stuff you realize how broken down SM64 really got. It's still nothing to scoff at that this eggboy can beat the game in under 25mins.
Weegee has had years of practice to develop muscle memory. Northernlion has literally only been doing this for like three months lol of course it's going to be different.

My gourd is nowhere near sufficient to contain my pogs. That said, how is your Lethal Lava Land so ass? Literally all you have to do is go ↑↓↑. But you randomly skip the middle or go diagonal on one random coin... Sometimes I swear idk wtf is going on in that great big bald head of yours. God bless you and your family
but for real it's because he lacks critical information (i.e. he thinks he will die after the second damage boost to the coins because normally his route involving getting fucked in the lava but he doesn't know that if he damage boosts instead of picking the yellow coins then the timing works out such that he will never take damage)
You could def do owl-less easily. I honestly shouldn't have skipped "learning" regular owl, I would say I am pretty good at owl-less (after learning it 3 days ago, and putting in like 4 full runs) I get it first 3 tries the majority of the time, I just suck at the triple jump and side flip wall-kicks to get up to the spinning island. Owless is def in your skill level and an easy time save. BitDW Red coins may be to hard to be consistent, but you could def get it 40-70% of the time within a day or maybe 2, thing with dark world reds is that it doesn't save much if any time if you mess up even once.
What, if you get it in 3 tries you lost a lot of time just getting up to the island, while the owl you wont miss like 99% of the time. there are some other things to implement before owless for sure. Just a couple dives in LLL reds would save as much time and are way less risky Owless is fun, but really hard to actually save time on

Point of advice for side flips with momentum (like whomp tower). Watch Baer videos, he's way more consistent on that jump and it's just about making a V. Angle of incidence equals angle of reflection. Think of a banked pool shot.
