It's taken root. I really think some designers need to come in and give some visual support for this genre, and hopefully not the steampunks. It needs something to itself. I like anime, but it's so...a different kind of cool, isn't it?
@@Soundmine I would prefer Steampunk over random anime. I think electro swing is classic with modern freedom of interpretation. Steampunk fits well there

idk what happened to this genre but i feel like it's gotten only "the more electro the better" which i'm not really a fan of
There are fantastic electro swing musicians out there that balance the electro and swing sides perfectly, I would recommend checking out the actual artists instead of mixes :)
Hm, that's interesting, I guess I could agree, but I just finished a longer 10-hour mix and I didn't notice that as much, in fact towards the beginning I thought quite the opposite. perhaps it's just this mix. I personally don't think this genre has changed much, this just isn't the mix for you I guess.
Great music but the art background doesnt really fit this style. Its swing not nightcore.
