- First time out No Prep racing as RWD with this combo as we work on AWD improvements. Also converted fuel to Methanol with 16 injector intake with Bosch 210's plus an extra injector in front of each turbo for 18 total !
Some success, some failure. But that's how we learn and improve.
Took a bit to figure out how the signal guy was letting people loose, has a different style than most everyone else we've seen. Looked like a couple drivers struggled with that too. Kudos for you guys for still getting out there and trying to get it done in RWD mode!
Yeah he didn’t have experience flagging. Wasn’t giving guys any time to spool but got a bit better as the night went on. I made sure to ignore the car and only focus on his light. Had my buddy helping, put me on the line so I didn’t need to bump and just be focused on letting go of button.
Normally I would bump in as a signal I’m ready but he wasnt giving time to. Just a variable of No Prep, street style, racing that you have to be ready for and make adjustments.
@@4familyman Yessir that's all part of the games we play, no one does it exactly the same so you've got to roll with the punches and learn. The guy with the most power doesn't always win in this kind of racing ;)
Always love seeing the updates Eric. Glad to see Marcus tag along and help you with the video. My nephew is in love with my 3000GT and is getting interested in learning more about cars since he will be 16 in December.
Time for the next generation to drive these cars! My car is 30 years old already. Insane.
@@4familyman Yeah. Mine is 31. I put it in a little car show at work last week and, of course, a lot of people had no idea what it was. Then the one guy asked what year and I told him 91 he looked at me like I had two heads and didn't want to believe it.
