Hey Scotty! Goal is to go as fast as the stock crank allows. I believe mid 7’s are possible. But we shall see. Some classes the car has to weigh 3000lbs though too.

@@4familyman You'll be needing a GTR type front diff built into the sump. Otherwise, it'll be as high as a Pajero but worse.

I’ve done dozens and dozens of hours of measuring. Engine will be high, but it will fit. And have good driveline position to rear differential. I’m building a custom oil pan too

Amazon specials lol. The battery relay/isolator is NVX BIR200. The Estops, come in a variety of sizes. Just search, emergency stop push button 12v

shadetree builder. We don’t got no PDMs around here lol. It’s a racewire, basic chassis harness, Amazon switch panel to an Amazon relay/fuse board. And a battery isolator used as a battery cutoff with two Estops. (One on dash and one on rear of car).

For awhile but broke CV axles and eventually a hub. So swapped in a solid axle ford 9”

​​@@4familymanSo I own a 1996 FWD, as you can see in my avatar. I also own a 1996 Audi A4 quattro that the mechanic I paid to fix the oil leak on failed to fix, so bad engine now. However, and I haven't measured or anything, but I believe I could put my Quattro on my 3000 GT, and my engine would be sitting right and not sideways anymore. What do you think? I saw where I can change the power so it's 60 to the rear and 40 to the front, so I could run wider tires on the back then and have a rear wheel bias.

@@jasonbourne1596 just fix the Audi. Or enjoy the 3000 as is. You would need thousands of dollars and hundreds and hundreds of hours of fabrication. And you’ll end up with a car that’s worse than what you started with.

swap mounts are $295 shipped from us. email familymanracing@gmail.com as for a swap, if you are clever at finding parts, you could do it for no cost since the stock 3000gt parts are worth money. as for 6sp, that won't work. you have to use a 5sp (or auto) trans from a DSM

Had some issues with electronic disconnect on Colorado axle and ended up welding it together. Also the Ranger has an Eaton truetrac LSD option which held up really well in Fore 9” rear. The Colorado had nothing. Lastly, the ford is shorter so I can run longer CV axles which will allow me to get the car low up front before axles bind. I hated how much wheel gap I had before.
