I'm 70...I've been around the block musically and I can say, without a doubt, to my ears Frampton plays the finest rock guitar I've had the pleasure of listening to in all those years.
He has great taste in his playing style but if you like this song, check out the original. Radiohead- In Rainbows. Supposedly, Frampton's daughter was into Radiohead so he gave a listen. They're my favorite band behind The Beatles. The song structures and arrangements are ridiculously creative.

Your guitar playing soothes the soul, you've not lost any of your magic. I was totally in love with you as a teenager and now we're all growing older, but very graciously.
Frampton always had it all... He could sing, play guitar (really well) write songs, and had the looks that girls wanted and guys respected. I purchased "Humble Pie Performance Rockin' The Fillmore" when it was released back in 1971. It was Peter's playing on that album that inspired me to start playing guitar. He's been my favorite guitarist ever since and as demonstrated here, he's still in a class by himself. Simply the best!
Me too, he changed my life with that album. I've played guitar ever since. It took me 50 years but I finally bought my first Les Paul Custom black beauty recently and It's all cos of him. A true legend no less.
I'd be happy to see ANY tour at this point and celebrate the end of the virus and the political reset theater decrees around it, but I'd be extra happy to see Frampton and other guitar heroes at the front of the tour line ups! I just don't think that any tour can be worth the ink on the ticket without great guitar performances.

I love this! It's classic Frampton guitar playing. He is one of the best. I've loved him since I was a kid in the 70's. He never disappoints. I will miss seeing him live in concert. One of the highlights of my life has been seeing him perform. Simply the best.

Was but a boy when Pie recorded the Fillmore and we could see what an immense talent he was.. Unfortunately went his own way and he left my radar. Could maybe have earned Page like status if he had stayed in that Classic Hard Rock genre but without doubt a fantastic guitarist that deserves all the plaudits that come his way….

Very first album I bought was Smokin’ by Humble Pie. Peter had left the band by then but I went and bought all of their albums. Steve Marriotts voice is rock and roll heaven. R.I.P. A couple of years ago I gave away most of my vinyl albums to a friend as I really needed the room but I kept the special ones. I’ve still got all the Humble Pie and Peter Frampton albums plus Steve Marriotts Packet of three dvd. Some things are just too precious to part with. I was at boarding school in England in the 70’s. Peter’s playing uplifted my soul in a totally new way. I am a guitar player myself and love many players, but Peter has a special place in my heart. I don’t know why but I really relate to his playing. Could be the jazz influence in his scales. So glad he is still putting out music. Never stop Peter !

I saw Peter do his iconic "Do You Feel Like We Do" at the L.A. Forum in 1977. Frampton played a guitar solo, then a piano solo, then a drum solo in the same song… a 30 minute version of his masterpiece….AMAZING
