TP 40 Tray Packer and FlexWrap CM Shrink Bundler - Food Cans - BW Integrated Systems

BW Integrated System's TP 40 Tray Packer in this application is designed to load loose double-high stacked cans of tuna onto trays. As cans infeed, they are staged for loading as tray blanks are placed into the flight system. The product is then pushed onto the tray by a servo loader. The flaps are sealed with hot-melt adhesive and compressed as the trays discharge out and over to our FlexWrap CM Shrink Bundler. The filled trays are transferred to pacing conveyors to ensure consistent product spacing. Trays then convey to the shrink bundler infeed conveyor, where they pass through the film web and the film is cut to length before the trays enter the bundler oven. Shrink-wrapped trays are cooled with a fan as they discharge.

The design of this machine is excellent and it works well. We've been using it for over a year and haven't encountered any major issue.
