Since I first saw this episode 15 years ago, I've always wondered : Chinese is notoriously difficult for Westerners to master. Wouldn't it be much easier to just download a recipe for Tangerine Chicken? Then he could obsessively monitor every ingredient to his heart's content.

God knows what he'd end up putting in it, though. In this episode he mistakenly says, "Your monkey sleeps in my stomach" and "There are many oxen in my bed."

The nurse, as you can see, is a character we’ll see again, she was at the sperm bank for the Pilot but from now on every time there’s the need to go to the hospital, or most times at least, she’ll be there with her no BS attitude. She’s great 👍🏻
She really is type cast. She plays a nurse in another Chuck Lorre show called Bob hearts Abishola.

This show has quietly made science much more cool.😎 I bet the number of people who know about Schrodinger's Cat and further searches online went up exponentially when this episode aired.🤓
Sadlly they got the point wrong. Though to be fair Every show with a reference to Schroedinger's Cat goes with the same misunderstanding. The point was to discredit another theory, by showing how ridiculous the premise is. The cat would obviously be alive or dead, while the claim is that the cat can be considered both alive and dead until the box is opened. For one thing there would be the smell. You could also add sound to determine. The idea it was discrediting was that observation actually determined the outcome. It's always presented as crediting the idea, but it's more a sarcastic point.
