The Archer and Olive Square journal. It's 8 X 8. I thought it would be too much space, but it's great. I have space to add notes or journal for the week.
I'm using an A5 but really want to try a B5 (or even the Artist's Loft one with more space) in the future!

I've been bullet journaling for about two years. I usually use one journal every six months and it has been: A5, A5, B5, A5. I'm returning to a B5 in January and I'd say the main adjustment is just to bear in mind that just because you have more space doesn't mean you have more time OR energy. At least, it was a necessary reminder for me. I find a B5 a lot more versatile, but I do like doodling so I don't mind if there's significant leftover space. Bright colors make me more likely to actually use my journal.

Very sweet themes in this journal! I loved the cherry blossoms 🌸.
My previous journal was a B5, but it was lined. I now use an A5 dot grid and at first it seemed tok small! In the end I find I can fit as much in a page as I used to, so it's good. I have been wondering about getting a B5 again for my next journal though, because the pages seem a bit crowded at times in the A5.
The care bear spread is so cute. I'd love some more doodle ideas for that theme to try and replicate

This journal is delightful! It’s the perfect combination of decorated and open ended! I typically stay within the A5 size, since apparently wide open spaces of paper is scary? 😂 I would love to try out a larger size, and found a lot of inspiration from this particular notebook!

I am using a B5 this year and I love how much room I have for projects and larger to-do lists. I can still fit 1 week in the space that I want to use no matter how long the to-do list is for each day. The only downside I have personally found for this size of a notebook is that it is less portable than an A5. It does not fit into my work bag so I do have to carry it separately and I have to remember to keep track of it so I don't leave it just lying around and forget it somewhere. I work in a job where I typically travel from location to location so that is a real possibility for me. But other than that I love the larger size of it. I have been using less paper per week so my journal is going to last me a lot longer than in previous years. Using A5 notebooks I was going through 2-3 notebooks in a calendar year. So far I have used a little less than 1/2 of the B5 so that, to me, is amazing.
That totally makes sense! I don’t take my journal with me to very many places, but I still like the fact that the A5 is so portable :)

Glad you posted this! I’m about to fill up my current bujo, and bought an archer and olive in both the A5 and B5 because I couldn’t decide. Now that they’re both here I STILL can’t decide, lol. I’ve always used A5, but I squeeze a lottt into each week’s layout. B5 would definitely help things feel less cramped. But A5 is such a nicer size to carry around, and I already know how to set up my go-to spreads, lol! Hmm

I love this!! I didn’t know B5 journals were a thing. I use an A5 for my journal but I’m a teacher and it serves mostly as my lesson planner and I’m always wanting more space! Are the squares in a B5 bigger than A5 or are there just more of them?
The squares (grid) are the same size and yes there are more of them 😁. I love mine. I use it mostly just as side planning notebook for all my crafty ideas.

Personally i dont know... b5 seems too much! I use an a5 one and i see it very comfortable for travelling or using outside of my house. But if it was planned to never leave the house i would totally use a b5 notebook. Seems like a lot of space to draw doodles and to do bigger calligraphy! Interesting. Aw thanks! I think my biggest tip is to build your audience :) it’s very hard to get found on Etsy organically because there are soooo many sellers. Pretty much 100% of my sales are from people that found me on UA-cam or Instagram!
I'm in a A&O B5 and I have 5 columns for weekdays that are 7x24 so I can track what I did when throughout the days. I have 2 7x11 boxes for the weekend. I use a modified weekly productivity level board (The Boosted Journal ua-cam.com/video/AZClyQPzqMw/v-deo.html) I then have a rolling weekly tasks list (Plant Based Bride ua-cam.com/video/knbT8jnMnfs/v-deo.html) sectioned into important and must do (frogs) and a section for tasks that should be done but aren't super important. Finally I have a notes section for anything like birthdays, changes in medications, ect.

I totally understand! It takes me about 20-25 hours to make a journal and this is my full time job so I charge accordingly :)
