This is no comedy friends.. this man is 100% accurate :(
@Polski_KabaretUh..... It's pretty darn accurate
Doesn’t mention that these upper class newcomers displace locals, especially disabled people. Who are pushed to use MAiD so upper class newcomers have housing.
Also doesn’t mention how immigration is the main cause of these issues either. Housing crises, low wages, lack of “skilled” jobs even though we supposedly have a severe skilled labour shortage and that’s why we need to flood the markets with newcomers we can’t support.
Laughed throughout most of the video, then that last 30 seconds hits you like a sledgehammer. Our generation truly is doomed huh
This is brilliant, Yesterday I heard a guy promoting migration to Canada and I was just laughing in my mind while I heard him
Should've told him to "sit on the tip of the CN tower 🗼 till you reach rock bottom... Ass hole."

I completely agree with your way of thinking, and I appreciate the courage it takes to voice your opinion in a country that's trying to make free speech illegal. Keep telling the truth.👍
Oh Canada: the great northern immigration trap
Well, you have a choice. Move!!!
@@CanadaExplorer101 you think I don't know that? I have children and grandchildren children, I am a senior, I have a job as a front line worker. I have been here in my country for 65years. I had a hard ❣️ life bringing a family ony own, and be a Mom and dad to them. But I did what I had to do, and a positive thinking attitude brought me forward. I didn't runaway when things we're tough 🐦 🕊️ I stuck to my believe and things got better and better. Life has his up's and downs, so , what you going to do when problems arise, give up, runaway or quit. Not this person, tough time don't last but tough people do. I am aware we have a pathy prime ministers,, but one has to believe things are going to be ok, and they will be. If I was in Europe when my husband died, I would have never make it. I thank God every day for my country Canada, my province and city. Justin Trudeau will be gone, ok? Things will be ok. Just trust yourself and God will guide all of us. I am speaking from experience.
I escaped Canada in Autumn 2022 to my native post-Soviet country (Kazakhstan). I have already bought a house here (w/o any mortgage) made of bricks and concrete with the hot water heating system including wall-mount radiators and a radiant heat floor, it is so much better than the typical Canadian flimsy wooden framed house. My winter utility bills, including natural gas for heating (the outside temperature was up to -30 Celsius) were CAD 55.
For some dental care, fixing three teeth, I paid CAD 150. Opening a bank account with issuing a Master Card took 15 minutes in total and I do not have any fees or transactional limits for the account itself, only 8 CAD for the card annually. If you are not absolutely lazy, the average monthly income is about CAD 800-1000 (at least in my city). This money is nothing in Canada, but if to compare it with the cost of living, it is like 5k-7k after taxes.
The son of my wife`s friend had appendicitis, and she called for the ambulance at 6 pm, at 8 pm he was already on the surgery table with all required tests done (by 10 am next morning the tests results were uploaded to her online account for future reference). She paid nothing.
Public transit is incomparably better and 10 times cheaper. Food is also cheap and also way better because big corporate chains like Costco or Walmart weren`t able to suppress small shops and markets, moreover you can buy everything including dairy and meat directly from farmers.
I can set up a tent or swim wherever I want. Nature is wonderful here: high mountains, lakes, prairies, whatever.
Cars are expensive here though. And I had to buy older ones, its a drawback, that`s for sure, but not a big deal. On the other hand, in general, car maintenance is affordable here. For example, I bent a lower control arm and two frame cross members. Most likely the car would be totaled in Canada, here I paid CAD 450 for fixing, done deal. By the way, the obligatory liability-only insurance is CAD 50 per year. Insurance companies are more or less toothless here and don`t have the same level of authority over people like in Canada (even in the case of an awful insurance history they will insure you w/o any questions and you will pay about CAD 10 more 😀), they cannot change the active status of your vehicle title.
The property tax for my house and another piece of land with a hobby workshop on it is about CAD 30 😂.
Btw, my phone plan is CAD 17 monthly and includes three phone numbers, 200 min. of speaking time and unlimited 4G internet access, I can share these resources among all numbers, topping up the speaking minutes is always possible if needed (2.5 cents per minute). No contract.
I drove across Canada 2.5 times and was shocked by the desperate poverty in many areas, we also have a lot of poor people here but their poverty is not hopeless, they are not walking dead like the crowd of drug-addicted zombies which I observed in Thunder Bay.
Now I understand why westerners, permanently living here, were ironically looking at me when I shared my plan to move to Canada 5 years ago...
P.S. I don`t want to say anything negative against Canadians as people, they are, like all of us on this planet, just people: good, bad or something in between. However, I do have to mention some nuances of Canadian education system (my two kids attended schools in NS and AB, therefore I have some impression about it), namely the appealing lack of world history and geography in the school program and as the result the total ignorance of the society beyond the scope of professional interests. On the other hand, it is very convenient for people in power to easily form the collective conscious in the desired direction.
Are there Westerners in Kazakhstan? Can you make a living if you don't speak Russian?
very well described, Canada is very overrated
My son's friend from India was a below average student but was a top student when he came to Canada lol. I still don't get the hype for the Canadian education system. Sure, it's more accessible to everyone but in terms of quality...nope. Left in the dust by a lot of the world.

To Nurses ,MedTech, etc, those that do make it to North America eventually bring the whole family over, more laborers of every kind Stateside / Canada!
This is the only youtube channel telling the truth about Canadian immigration.
It won't be for long.
Russell Matthews tells it too
The issue is that the immigrant moving to Canada is reluctant to reveal the truth, instead of making up how good their lives are now.
Well, some losers immigrate without research. Oh no, his wife can't work with some foreign diploma from a country with a ton of corruption. Oh no, he didn't compare his salary and cost of living, and couldn't compete with new grads from cool universities that can do much more without 10+ years of "coding monkey" experience
There are plenty of others, actually. People are fed up, native-born Canadians and immigrants alike. I've been watching videos like this by immigrants who've, unfortunately, moved to Canada only to discover what a sham it is, and by native-born Canadians who have either already left the country or are planning to.
There are a lot of people angry and disillusioned who have been speaking up. And I'm glad to see it. I hate seeing people being duped into losing their life savings on a scam like the one the Canadian government has set up.
If you need to go to the dentist in Canada, it's much cheaper to go to your home country to see your dentist, including air fare, dentist's appointment, and a little holiday to see your family and friends.
@@monikam9069 And they charge you according to what they think is proportional to your income: a general cleaning may be $100, but if they know you work in an "office", suddenly they charge $300 for the same procedure. They also use cheap materials for cavities that will break in a couple of years.
@monikam9069
True.
My older sister and my daughter had those experiences from different dentists of different era.
That's true.
If you work in an office hopefully they provide supplemental health insurance including dental. Just had a cleaning and it was $192 which insurance paid 80%. Need to be selective where you work.

When Canadians compare Canada to America they compare the worst parts of America (the hoods of California for example) to a middle class Canadian neighborhood.
It’s disingenuous . This way immigrants choose Canada over America thinking they’re getting the better deal because it’s “safer” .
Meanwhile if they picked a middle class American neighbourhood they’d have more opportunity , better cost of living , higher income and safety .
It's not easy to move to America. People choose Canada because it is easier to get into Canada.
Canada has a well-oiled propaganda machine believe it or not.
Actually “guns” are such a huge barrier for people from the countries not allowed to possess…
Guns. America is for the strongs and rich. Not for an immigrant searching his way up.

How to succeed in Canada:
1. Go on social programs
2. Get social housing , This will lock in at 30% of your income.
3. Find an underground economy side hustle. because the social programs just pay enough to keep your breathing.
4. Keep your declared income low. DO NOT WORK whatever you do, it will cost you so much more.
5. Bonus points if you can do the above with children and keep the expenses down.
Let the the suckers (working people) pay the bills though taxes.

Canada is not good for immigration. Here is my story. I came to Canada 20 years ago as a legal immigrant with my wife and 2 small kids and with $28000. I had my university degree in Robotics in Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering. My wife was quite smart and promising scientist with degrees in University of Physics. We were told by the already arrived immigrants from my country that this is a great place to live, just 2 steps before the Heaven... So much not true. Nobody in Canada cared about our professional experience and our Universities degrees and even for my wife's scientific achievements in Physics. Nobody cared about our driver's experience either. The so called 'professional and business gates keepers' + $ traps + $ sharks were everywhere down the Canadian road sucking our money, our energy and our will to establish deep roots in this country. The famous health care was not good at all. Criminal activities and drug addictions were steadily growing every year. Imagine - 20 years ago it was hard. Really hard. It took me over 1 decade to step on my feet and to put my children through universities, to build some $ credit, to borrow money from the banks and to obtain some properties.
Now - 20 years later, it is hundred times more difficult for the new legal immigrants to grow roots in this country. Do not waste your time, your talents and your energy. Do not come to Canada. Please go somewhere else - to the Middle East, to some of the countries in Africa, in South America, in Asia. Their countries governments will appreciate law-abiding, willing to work immigrants with degrees, with experience and with some money.
The currently existing in Canada Liberal government is greedy, corrupt, unprofessional, dishonest, lousy and careless 'political mafia'.
It wants to knock all citizens down and to financially enslave them with skyrocketed taxes and high bank interest rates. There is no point to become a financial slave in this country ruled by new era tyrants.

Canada has lost their mind bro. Let's chat sometime and I'll tell you how crazy Ottawa is.
Why don't you share it right away
I can second that. I'm only here because of my underpaid job. Looking to change my path soon!!
Why the fuck I can’t find a minimum wage job in Ottawa? Motherfuckers want me to go through two interviews and send them a detailed resume for a fucking 16 dollar minimum wage job
This man is a genius. I cant believe how true he is in his description. I live in this country. My credit score is perfect, have a down payment of 30-40K and no debt. And i cant afford even a decent townhouse.
Triple your downpayment and you'll be closer. I had to put $240k down to seal the deal on a place. HCOL areas are crazy.
Edit: By the way, we have a Shareholder and Landlord based economy. I have never seen people struggling affect what the official GDP and job numbers do, but if retired people (own homes) or shareholders (own stocks) take a hit, then spending instantly falls. If you want to get your foot through the good, you probably shouldn't be incinerating your downpayment's value in a bank. Instead, dump it in a diversified tech fund like the QQQ and let it ride. That way your downpayment at least keeps up with inflation. And ignore everyone that says the market is risky and to never use it for money that you *need* - what you actually NEED is a home, and you only get that by retaining purchasing power, which stocks and real estate do. Real Estate can be purchased by the $1,000,000 or so, and stocks by the $50-500, so go after what you can actually afford. Banks are always lower than posted inflation by 2-5%, and real inflation by 10-14%, so it's like incinerating up to 14% of your buying power per year, if you're not investing.
Good luck!
Look outskirts.... Got a stacked townhome for under 500k.... You can make with a bit of positive thinking and adjustment or move to Alberta Edmonton.
I had to put down $75000 in 2007 to get a townhome that was 290000. Only way to have a manageable monthly payment you need more money. 30-40000 unfortunately won’t do it these days. Will need at least 20% down these days as banks are super cautious about lending now.
@marksmith6787 Third party lenders are still taking even 5% percent down-payment as I did. Also, third party lenders are better and interest rate is comparable and even slightly lower as in my case... Big banks will give hard time whereas third party will work with you.
@@brownnomad6805 That's a good suggestion.
If you have always dreamed of burning your life's savings then come on up to Canada! It's expensive here because there are way too many middle-men in Canada. Everyone wants to have their hand in your pocket for some good old daylight robbery, ie. 'There's a tax for this and a charge for that'. Been here for ten years and still waiting for a family doctor. Canadians I work with are the same and unless you are pregnant you will be ignored. Medical staff once told me that I would most likely die waiting for treatment if I get cancer👍. Most millennials I have met here are in support of Socialism/Communism and they feel that they can never afford their own home so why try harder - just waiting with their hand out for some universal basic income. You will be told that Canadians are polite only to learn otherwise when they steal from you, push in front of you and lie to you. People are the same in EVERY country so don't expect any different. If you had a truck licence in your old country, they will cut it up when you get your Canadian licence and make you start from the beginning which will cost you thousands. The government has become a fascist dictatorship and is pushing their woke agenda on the population. If you are gay or queer you will probably have the time of your life up here as it seems every second person is now waving the alphabet flag from their homes and expect you to be in support of them. High percentage of jabbed people too who are now clogging up the hospitals with mental illness, heart attacks and strokes. The local funeral home has a newly built crematorium after not needing one for 50 years as business is now really booming for some reason.

This is pure truth. Canadian here, born and raised. Victoria, BC. These issues don’t only affect immigrants; they also affect us natives. I’m a dual citizen of US and Canada. I left for the US and will never return. Taxes are comparable in the US but where I live - Washington state - there is no state income tax. There is a sales tax - 7% - but no harmonized sales tax. So while the federal income tax is about the same as Canada’s, let’s just look at the difference between BC and Washington state. Washington : no state income tax. BC : 7 - 12 % provincial income tax. Washington: sales tax 7%. BC: sales tax 12%.
I could go on and on but I don’t want to make this too big, but in short: real estate, houses and condos, gasoline, and food are also cheaper. There is competition in the auto insurance industry and so I pay $60/month for car insurance.
I’ll save the best for last. Salaries are almost double for the comparable position. I’m a seaman in the US merchant marine, and make $72,000/ year (US) for six months of work. An unlicensed seaman such as myself working for the Canadian coast guard makes exactly half of that - about $36,000/year (US) for six months of work.
Oh and let’s not forget Americans have a constitutional right to freedom of speech and assembly.
Good God, the state of Canada is sickening
The allure of Canada (in the past) has always been its low crime rates, relatively high standard of living and the opportunity to grow your finances; therefore, immigrants could put up with the year round bad weather and restrictive investment opportunities. Now that the country is no longer low crime and toeing third world standard of living nor a place where you can save your money, there is no incentive to stay here. I'm hoping to be out of here as soon as I can, and I will never look back, Canada is done.
or you can just learn how to get a good job, even if you have to move, and make more money than most people in the world. or go to another country that has less opportunities.
for being able to obtain a good job and save lots of cash, starting out from highschool or just a year or two of education, Canada is top 3 in the world.
@@hammothw4814 hahahaha, good one, you card!
@@tomaytotamaato and that's why you are looking to leave the country and give up on the best opportunities for another country where after time you will realize is more difficult to make ends meat. becasue you think you know it all, rather than being humble and ask for help, and say you don't know.
@@hammothw4814 wow, what mind trip you are. You know absolutely nothing about me and yet project all of your fiction as if it were true. There's no doubt in my mind you are a Justin Turdo or Jagmeat Singh voter.
😂 #canadianDream
Brutally honest.
"I think we have 150K dollars, we also have an apartment". As I see median net worth for 35-39 years old in Canada is 125K. People who managed to accumulate 150K plus condominium in their countries are not likely to become much richer in Canada.
I would say, the word is getting out on Canada. But as a wise man once said, there's a sucker born every minute. And while skilled immigrants from Germany and the UK would scoff at the idea of moving to Canada. Plenty of unskilled people from Somalia, Haiti, and Nigeria, will gladly walk in and collect benefits.
Thanks for covering the reality of being a new Canadian in a hilarious but very accurate way!
There is nothing funny about this.
There is no lie either...
Canada has never been a democracy, Justin Trudeau is just the first PM to drop all pretense. To be fair though, Canada has large amounts of almost every commodity in the world, and somehow the majority of the citizens have never been excessively wealthy... as much as I hate JT, we've been getting screwed for a very long time, by every political party to take leadership.
Thanks god I cancel my visa I withdraw I have apply for Finland 😮
YOU ARE GENIUS!!!
I think you nailed it.
Pretty awesome vid, except firstly yo'd better give a note right before beginning 'its dialogue between a person who intends to immigrant somewhere in the democracy west'; secondly, if you can separate the dialogue scene in one frame, that'll be cool.
Be careful with those bashing videos on Canada when you apply for your citizenship
He's not the only one, nobody cares
I agree,I would leave…if I could afford it.
😂 every single word is true. Today, I celebrate my 9th year in Canada 🎉 😂
So accurate!
Life in Canada to Angry Canadian Immigrant 😂 Love it!
Nice one, thanks.
Actually, many Ukrainians received the CA visa through the CUAET program, around 1 million or even more, including myself. A 130k CAD salary for a Software Engineer is achievable even from Poland (remotely), where there is cheaper and better rent, a very low cost of living, a 6-12% income tax rate, clean streets, and no homelessness.
It seems like Canada is primarily focused on its public relations, and that's it. Speechless. It's not suitable for software engineers, at least.
Hope you will return.
Well said. I grew up in Canada during the 90s in Vancouver and watched things get progressively worse. I went back recently to look for work (in a skilled technical trade) and the results were shit. I even went past Science World where I used to go every weekend as a kid, there's a big mechanical contraption out front I used to look and marvel at as a kid. It was rusted, covered in a plastic screen that hadn't been washed and looked as if it hadn't been taken care of. Unfortunately I'm sure the story is the same for most places. Canada is a shithole now.
>watched things get progressively worse
I see what you did there
the mechancial contraption is removed now , and replaced with, guess what....... - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!
That’s what the progressives really stand for: making it progressively worse.
Sadly it is right. I did design about 30 large projects as an experienced European architectural enginner, in employment, and I was permitted to sign my name as a drafter only, and permit an old guy with license to sign as an architect, who had to hold his two hands to make a signature on my plans he did know nothing about. Sadly the Canadian system works only for people who have the ability and courage to start their own business and not let be sucked into the employment market by the parasites who live on taking advantage of migrant professionals by various laws which justify this slavery, probably as part of the British-colonialist tradition..I left the country to the US after 15 years and back to Europe, although I like Canada otherwise..and real estate was cheaper back than than now it is priced beyond reality..
Great comment. Just thinking how hard immigrants worked to get here and to make ends meet and yet they are called parasites. I'm glad you pointed out that the slave drivers in the workplace are indeed the real parasites replicating (neo)- colonialism.
Immigrant from a developing country, Canada is a developing country 😅
I said to my self that if didn’t get CLB 9 on the first try for the IELTS, I will look for other possibilities. Thank God I dodged that bullet.
Man, you just didn’t mention my name, but somehow you described my experience 100% 😭
Here in Halifax NS. are people (and families) who are sleeping in tents set up on recreation ball parks, this was not the case back in 2020, but is now the the case in 2023..... these are the visable homeless, there are ...other people living on the streets........
"you and your wife have the perfect qualifications for these two positions I have at Tim Hortons" 😂😂😂
Thanks for the content! We got the point. It's time to go further and be more productive. You have lots of subscribers through the whole world who shares your thoughts, so you can start to choosing next destination with their help/feedback to avoid mistake with choosing country we all already made
This is sad but actually brilliant..
Keep up this honest and creative work sir, much appreciated!
To be fair, you moved here in 2019: the last "normal" year for Canada. In 2016 I went through a brutal divorce where I lost everything, then saved enough for a down payment and bought a new house for 400k @ 2.69% interest rate at the end of 2019. My house is not in a big city with jobs though, that's for sure. :) Loving your content!
Well that's not fair at all. Now that same house is 700K at 6%.
@@katierose1893 I'm not saying it's fair, I'm just saying that there was a time not too long ago when most people could afford a house (at least 1999-2019), and if he and his family moved here two years earlier he'd be one of the people whose house went up by 40%.
@@nschone7492 what's fair is to look at today's salaries and today's housing prices. Not looking backwards.
nice, nice, but you still in Canada waiting for strong Canadian passport :) What country are you going to move next?
Obviously USA
👏👏👏👏 IRREFUTABLE !!
The truth, you are 100 % right
