Seeing this is very helpful. I'm going solo to Japan for 14 days ij 2023 and was wondering if they had plenty of English vending machine restaurants where I order and enter the restaurant table, and wait for the food. Of course still going to learn basic restaurant speech/public everyday basis, and manners. Going to have my Google translate, and map on hand. But the thing is, I heard that if I wanna get a Sim card to work while there I need to have an unlocked smart phone OR there is always the option of a portable Hotspot, because I'm guessing the capsule hotel I'll be at will have the wifi as I turn on the mobile Hotspot during the day in a very limited kind of way.
It was pouring out when we filmed this but we couldn't figure out exactly what was making that sound. Something wooden banging in the rain. Maybe a loose window frame or something?

Such a sweet travel video! Helps for those planning their trips :)
@18:17 What was the tapping noise in the background? Sounds like ping pong match in progress or is that the sound of raindrops?
