You don't need the conversion tracks. They're for connecting to Tomix track which have the rail joiners on the opposite side to everyone else.

Thanks for the comment. True enough, I just thought it was an easy way to connect and solder at the same time for a self containment section that can click into the Kato track. Thanks for watching!

@@rhopkin2512 I bought loads of those conversion tracks before I found out that I didn't need them. I also found that Minitrix rail joiners fit Kato track much better than Peco ones.
