HiDef: NS 3564 with a Cab Mounted K5LA in 2020!

- Over the years, it has become increasingly difficult to find locomotives on Class I railroads with cab mounted airhorns. Back in the Spring, NS local H90 was running with NS SD40-2 3564, which still retains its K5LA airhorn above the cab. In this short chase, we'll see H90 on a weekday run down the C&F secondary as light power out of Chapmans Yard, and then crossing Route 100 as they go prepare to work Sam Adams and Nestle. Thanks for watching, and don't forget to leave a thumbs up, comment, and subscribe for more content like this!

Nice. NS 3564 is now Cargill 613. It was built for BN. It had a nice K5LA. Since someone said it has a 4 instead of a 4A it is actually a K5LAM.
Nice catch say that Raised Letter is definitely Flater then the standard factory Raised Letters which is exactly why I like it.
It's a hybrid, bells 1 2 3A 4 5, and technically it's sharper, since the 4 plays a C, while the 4A plays a B
@@CSX500 Thank you! I actually know all of this now after a little research.
@@CSX500 That is also called a K5LAM
I don't use that term anymore, just doesn't sit right with some of us now.
@@CSX500 oh.
Nice
We had this unit in manassas Virginia for about a month
